About this house rental
This large fully furnished comfortable home is located on 155 feet of sandy Paw Paw Lake frontage with a private 82 foot permanent pier with dockage for renter's boats and great pier fishing. The beach is sandy with no seawall, so great for swimming. Paw Paw Lake is a 900-acre inland lake with 13 miles of picturesque shoreline to explore, located in Watervliet, Michigan. Paw Paw Lake is one of the premier inland lakes in Southwest Michigan. It's fully recreational, including excellent fishing, power and sail boating, water-skiing and jet-skiing. The beach area is very user-friendly, especially for children since the sandy area's descent is gradual. Boat, jet-ski, kayak, and paddle board rentals are also available from local stores/marinas.
The house is large and cozy with 5 bedrooms, which sleeps 12. There is also a finished 3rd floor (available at additional fee) with 2 more bedrooms to sleep an additional 6 for total of 18, if needed. There is a very large living room with a stone wood-burning-fireplace, comfy denim sofas, and a 65 inch flat panel TV, WiFi, and a stereo. The dining room has a big farmhouse table and the kitchen has everything you'll need. From the house the wide lot offers a gorgeous view of the water and two large bay windows; one in front of the dining table and another that spans the entire living room, giving panoramic views of Paw Paw Lake. The backyard has a huge beautiful wrap-around deck. It's very large, with a picnic table, Weber gas grill and deck chairs. The deck makes an ideal outdoor living space. There is also a screened-in porch and an outside fire pit for s'mores. There are cornhole boards, rafts, kids' life vests and toys for the beach. The house has hardwood floors throughout.
The home furnishes everything but your clothes and tooth brush, including KitchenAid gas range and oven,dishwasher, microwave, mixers, 2 coffee maker, two refrigerators, extra freezer, beverage fridge, dishes, silverware and a basement with a washer and dryer. There is digital comcast cable and wifi included. We provide all towels and linens and even toilet paper.
In the summer the house rents from Friday to Friday. Check-in is at 5:00 pm and check-out is at 10:00 am. It is available in the Fall, Winter and Spring for both shorter-term weekends and longer-term rentals. In the Fall, people enjoy weekends of apple and pumpkin picking at nearby orchards, as well as wine tasting at area vineyards. The house is also close to several wedding venues. The driveway fits 6 cars comfortably.

This property, "The Offerdahl Lakehouse", is phenominal! Everyone should have the opportunity to stay at this gem! Owners are awesome, super helpful and informative. Definitely a place you should try to stay.

This is our 4th year staying at this beautiful property. The house is very spacious with lots of room for family. The house is equipped with everything you need. We loved sitting on the deck and enjoying the sunrise and sunset. Close to the golf course and town for any necessity. We enjoyed the lake and lots of family time.

We spent a week in this grand old house. The view of the lake from the front of the house is beautiful. Our host was very friendly and responsive to our requests.
