The beach home was very well laid out for a large family, and they had every accessory in the house, and for the beach to relax and enjoy!

The Patient Heron is spacious, easily accommodating our large family including 2 small children. The kitchen is well equipped and the location cannot be beat.
There is a small strip of beach right in front of the driveway and Turtle Beach is a mere 5 min. stroll down the road. There are kayaks, paddle boards and other beach gear available for all to use. Restaurants and stores are close by. If you like fish, the Big Water Fish market is a must, where you can dine in or get the fresh daily catch for your grill.
During our stay, we had a few issues that required attention. Mike, who takes care of the property, was quick to respond and address our issues. Thanks Mike for making our stay pleasant!
The host, Lorelei, is very communicative and quick to respond. One thing to note is there was construction next door during our stay, which was very noisy, but not much can be done about that. All in all we had a great time. We would recommend the Patient Heron to anyone who wants a great beach vacation.
