Lakeview House just steps from the lake. Pet Friendly!

Adorable cabin, very clean! Check out the host binder for the history of this cabin and land! It's just around 800 ft from the lake, and has a huge (non-fenced) yard. If you are bringing coffee, get the k-pods because there's not a regular coffeepot. An extension cord would be handy for charging phones since there's no nightstands next to any beds. Bring your own pillows because they only have the decorative pillows as seen in pictures. Beautiful hardwood floors throughout made sweeping for check out easy, but the dustpan wouldn't lay flat on the floor, so use a damp papertowel instead of dust pan. There are no end tables or coffee table in living area, so we just used the kitchen chairs as end tables.

Very comfortable, great location with easy access to southwest portions of Toledo Bend reservoir, has a well-supplied general store and gas station within a few minutes. Safe grounds, friendly neighbors, lots of space and nature around. Owls very active talking to each others in nearby trees, and water access very private though reservoir level was 4 ft low. Very well kept house, comfortable clean and very complete. We will be coming back!

Very Per friendly with a nice beautiful back yard to let them explore. Property is located on McGees landing, the people staying on the grounds during our stay were friendly and helpful.Water and boat access was great, easy in and easy out . Beach is accessible and pet friendly too. Beds and sofas were comfortable, Ac units in each living space kept it cool and we all slept very well. Property owner very responsive and even helped us out by mailing something we left back to us the next day! A few notes to prepare for your stay, if your trying to work or stay connected the Wi fi and cell service was pretty much none, which made it nice to disconnect, but frustrated our teen and his friend, but it was good for both of them. Also if you get freaked out by open windows at night, bring some sheets to hang over windows, the living area has beautiful windows but no blinds. Lots of cool nature, got to see deer every morning and evening, and we got to see some up close bald eagle action!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The access to the water was nice as well as the accommodations.
