The building is a minute’s stroll from a grocery store, a brief walk from a major bus stop and all necessary service.
Explore nearby cultural gems such as the Kopavogur Art Museum and the Natural History Museum of Kopavogur within walking distance, while the Kopavogur Swimming Hall is a mere 3-minute drive away from ICA and Sky Lagoon 10 minutes away.
The neighbourhood is quiet but central.
Getting Around:
Buses run close to the apartment and to the city centre and the company Airport Direct offers a drop-off/pick-up at Hamraborg bus stop, in only 3 minutes walking distance. You can book airport transfer through us.
Taxi can be ordered to this location, but this is a more expensive option.
The property offers free parking, so you can park your rent-a-car in front and be free to travel around on your own car. Please contact us for recommendations on rentals.

This is a really clean and convenient option close to Reykavik. We stayed 4 nights. Our only snafu was that we thought there was no silverware. It turns out there is a drawer within a drawer, which we had never seen before. A toaster would have been handy, but we made due. It was so nice having a grocery store right across the street, plus several restaurant options. We had a car and there was ample parking, however this is a short walk to the bus station, so it's accessible even without a car. It was a bit noisy on the weekend, but we closed the windows and it was fine. Very close to Reykjavik!

We spent a week in Iceland and this apartment was our home base. We did several day trips and an overnight down south. This worked out perfectly for our family. The studio apartment was fine and comfortable. We had a spot for our rental car. There was a supermarket right across the street, bakery and coffee shop across the road and in the area - many eating options. Re:location - we were 7-10 mins from many parts of Reykjavik and super easy access to main highways that took us everywhere. I would highly recommend.
