Nice big king size beds. Nice to have coffee included.
Washer was a plus. Host was responsive. Blackout shades came in handy.
Parking was street parking and not always available across from Apartment. We were 6 people using the pullout sofa and 2 room and it was small for 6. Better for 4 people max.
A book with instructions for stove/tv would have been helpful but we figured things out using Google Translate.

The property is great. Its location is in a wealthy suburb of Reykjavik; and while not in the city center, it is an easy and short 12 minute drive away. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean--- everything looks exactly like the photos. The host is very responsive. During our stay, the price per night of the property was considerably lower compared to alternative accommodations in Reykjavik; this made it an excellent value!!!
Nothing really. But as others have mentioned, you need to walk down a small flight of stairs to enter the property so this can be challenging for people with mobility issues. The instructions for waste are a bit confusing. While we knew that the property only had one bathroom (and for some reason the bathroom door didn't lock), it would have been nice to have a second bathroom. However, I'm sure having a second bathroom would have certainly increased the price of the stay.

The bedding was comfortable, location was quiet, parking was easy.
It was TOO HOT. I understand that Icelandic homes do not have AC, but the heat should at least turn off. Additionally, why no fans to bring in the lovely cool air from outdoors. This would be a cost effective & easy way to cool the space in summer.
