About this cottage rental
This luxurious stone faced cottage over looks the beautiful Omey Island. This stunning 4 bedroomed house is also just a short walk from the small village of Claddaghduff with shop, pub & petrol pumps. Omey island is a tidal island so when the tide is out there is a huge strand to stroll on or head to the island to discover it's amazing history - but always make sure to make it back before the tide comes in! Each year the Omey races, which take place on the strand, sees thousands of people take to the beach to view the amazing spectacular - a must if you are in the area on the day!

Stayed for a week. Couldn't have asked for more. House was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Lovely quiet location overlooking Omey Beach which is only a 5 minute walk. 15 minute drive to Clifden. Jackie and Paul were very friendly and accommodating, would highly recommend this property!

My Mam , sister and myself had a wonderful stay in the house in the beautiful setting of Claddaghaduff and Omey Island.
the house was one of the best I have stayed in and I have stayed in many over the years. It was spotless, we all had our own bathroom and lots of space to chill, read a book and relax. The village pub is just on the door step and the beach is a short stroll away, and WHAT a beach... we will be back to this beautiful hidden piece of Connemara.

A beautiful house , in an ideal location . Both as a base for seeing other parts of Connemara or just staying local for the walks and georgous scenery. The house has everything you need and more for self catering .
Would definitely recommend both the house and the location for a summer or autumn holiday.
