Welcome to the Hudson Hideaway—a Wilder Co Properties stay in downtown Jersey City! Our sun-filled 2-bedroom duplex apartment is private and peaceful inside a historic brownstone and has amenities for families, business travelers, and friends alike – queen beds, A/C, WiFi, a smart TV, washer/dryer, oven, dishwasher, backyard grill & more! Jersey City’s historic downtown is brimming with charm, from its cobblestone streets to its eclectic mix of cafes, boutiques, and restaurants. The neighborhood is filled with restaurants, bars, and shops within a few blocks from the apartment! Newark Ave, a pedestrian-only walking street, is filled with restaurants, bars, and shops. 3 blocks away is Van Vorst Park, with lawns, playgrounds, a gazebo, and the occasional farmers market. Liberty State Park, with its breathtaking views of the Statue of Liberty and NYC skyline, is also nearby.
The Grove St PATH Station for the train into NYC is about a 15 minute walk through cute residential streets.
Guests have full, private access to the bottom floor duplex apartment in the home as well as the private backyard. There are a couple stairs down to the entrance of the apartment and a set of stairs inside the apartment to get up to the bedrooms.

-Bedrooms: Two spacious bedrooms, each with its own full en-suite bathroom and queen bed, ensure privacy and convenience for everyone in your group. The rooms are furnished with plush beds, soft linens, and plenty of storage space. Both bedrooms are at the top of a set of stairs.
-Living Room: Relax on the comfy couch after a day of sightseeing or enjoy movie nights on the flat-screen TV. The bright and airy living space is ideal for unwinding and spending quality time together. The couch folds out into a queen sized bed.
-Dining Room: Gather around the dining table for meals or game nights. The dining area comfortably seats your group and adds to the homey atmosphere.
-Kitchen: The fully equipped kitchen is a chef's dream, complete with all the essentials—large and small appliances, cookware, and utensils. Whether you're preparing a hearty breakfast before heading out or a cozy dinner at the end of the day, you'll have everything you need.
-Additional Bathroom / Laundry: In addition to the en-suite bathrooms, there’s a full bathroom conveniently located on the main floor. We provide complimentary bath essentials, including body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and hand wash. There is a washing machine and dryer in-unit as well.

Public transportation to NYC and Newark Airport via the PATH train. The train is a 7 minute ride to the World Trade Center in Manhattan. Easy access by PATH train to Newark Airport and a 20 minute Uber or Lyft ride.
ADDITIONAL OFFERS:
- $125 Private driver transfer from Newark Airport direct to the Airbnb, one way. Can be hired for departure day as well.
- $250 Mini photoshoot either at the Airbnb or at the waterfront with the NYC skyline in the background. (15) final photos. Subject to availability.

Parking is not included, but there are a few parking options. I like Columbus Garage LLC, 66 Christopher Columbus Drive, Jersey City, NJ 07302. I believe it’s $28 a day. It’s right next to the Grove Street Path into NYC.
Street parking is for residents only on weekdays, meaning there is a two hour limit on parking Monday-Friday from 8am to 5pm. Nights and weekends you can park on the street.

I booked this property for a family trip to NYC. The size of the home and the location were absolutely perfect. It was about a 10 minute walk to the PATH station to get into the city. There are also numerous stores and restaurants within a block or two of the home, making it extremely convenient. There are 2 separate bedrooms with en suites as well as a 3rd full bath on the main level. I didn’t realize that the apartment included 3 full baths, so this was a lovely surprise. There is a very nice outdoor space on the backside of the unit which was truly lovely. Also. As an FYI this property is the garden apartment, not the apartment with stairs leading up to it. I would have given the property 5 stars but there were a few items that need to be addressed before I would give a 5 star review. 1. Minimal towels were provided. 1 bath towel per person. We requested a few more towels but the management was unable to provide them. So we ended up washing and rewashing our towels almost every day. 2. The washing machine needs to be deep cleaned. It was rather funky. 3. The mattresses are on the firm to very firm side. We ended up purchasing some mattress toppers to help soften the beds. The pullout was also extremely uncomfortable. 4. There were multiple cabinets on the kitchen that were broken. One upper cabinet door fell off the hinges when we opened it to retrieve a plate. The door almost hit my mom in the head. Overall it was a great property but it needs some attention

Excellent property. Clean, well appointed and well located. Cute 2 bedroom with 3 bathrooms and nice kitchen. Quiet location (for city) and easy six block walk to Jersey City’s City Hall. Would stay again.
