Fantastic house, Andres is the best host ever! He is so accommodating, we stayed for 2wks & he checked in on us to make sure we were good & to see if we needed anything. We had 2 pickups with trailers & Andres made sure we had adequate parking. If you are considering staying at Rustic Refuge DO IT, you won’t regret it!

The backyard is a dream for a small family or just anyone who likes to hang in a back yard and enjoy being outside. Extremely kid friendly! We grilled and played in the pool. Very fun. Also a great location for riding into town. Fruita is known as bike hq so you'll likely have a bike anyway. We rode into town multiple times and enjoyed ourselves to some great local drinks and dining. If you're looking for a no frills place to crash and plan to spend most of the time outside this place is perfect. The inside is nice but a bit small with rooms all right next to each other and 1 bathroom with no tub
