About this house rental
The main living area offers an elegant sense of gathering, with vaulted ceilings, comfortable seating, a gas fireplace, and a Smart TV for relaxed movie nights after days spent biking, hiking, skiing, floating the river, or exploring the miles of Sunriver pathways. The dining area provides a welcoming place for shared meals, puzzles, board games, and lingering conversation, while the fully stocked kitchen includes the essentials for easy breakfasts, family dinners, and everything in between.
With sleeping space for up to 10 guests, Shag Bark 20 is especially appealing for group travel and multi-generational vacations. Three king ensuites give adults the privacy and comfort travelers increasingly look for in a Sunriver vacation rental, while the bunk room offers a pyramid bunk, twin trundle, foosball, and a sitting area, creating a cheerful retreat for kids or teens to claim as their own.
Outdoors, the spacious deck opens to the peaceful Deschutes National Forest setting. Begin the day with coffee among the pines, gather for dinner from the grill, watch for deer and native wildlife, or close the evening with a soak in the private hot tub beneath the Central Oregon sky. Whether your itinerary includes summer river floats, scenic bike rides, high-desert hikes, snowboarding at Mt. Bachelor, or slow mornings in Sunriver, this home offers an ideal base for every season.
For larger groups, Shag Bark 20 may also be booked with nearby 21 Shagbark, making it easier to keep family and friends close while still allowing each household the comfort of its own space.
Please note: Like many Sunriver homes, this home does not have air conditioning. With cool mountain evenings, shaded forest surroundings, and ice-cold rivers and lakes nearby, Shag Bark 20 is made for an easygoing summer rhythm of morning coffee, afternoon adventures, cold drinks, and unhurried time together.
AGE RESTRICTIONS: Guests must be 23 years or older to rent Bennington homes and the person reserving must occupy the home the whole reservation.
