About this house rental
Rosie's Homestead is an early 1900's farmhouse in the Schulenburg area that has been newly and meticulously remodeled. It sits on 17 acres creating just the needed privacy. The longleaf pine wood floors upstairs are original to the home. It is nestled in a peaceful environment of beautiful mature pecan trees. The farmhouse charm resonates in every room with 4 large bedrooms (2 upstairs and 2 downstairs) and 3 spacious full bathrooms (all with double vanities). Upstairs also has a gameroom with TV/Playstation/games to enjoy! The kitchen is fully equipped with new appliances. There is a laundry room with a new washer and dryer. It comfortably sleeps 16! There are porches on the front and back of the home that make it difficult to leave! Sit on the porch and watch the kids play in the large fenced-in yard (tetherball available) or just sit and watch the birds/cows. Bring marshmallows to roast or steaks to grill on the firepit. Gas grill also available. Keep an eye on the deer feeder for any visitors or just sit and watch the cows graze! In very close proximity to the house is the barn that has been turned into a "party barn." The barn is equipped with ping pong table, corn hole, dominoe table, benches/chairs/bar, lighting/ceiling fans, etc. Or forget the games and bring a speaker and two-step the night away! If your looking for a true country get-away, this is it!

We were in town for our son’s wedding. The house and game barn worked out great. One of the best furnished kitchens we have had in a rental.
