Overlooking the Mad River with private access to a local swimming hot spot and 3 min drive to the local farmers market! This beautiful historic farmhouse in the heart of Waitsfield Village. See the Mad River from kitchen, living room and other windows as well! Convenient downtown location, yet private setting. Sit on the wrap-around front porch with close up views of the covered bridge. Less than a block to local shops for breakfast, lunch or dinner. One block away from the Mad Bus (ski bus) stop and library. This home is private yet, in the center of it all! Float down the river on a tub or jump off the rocks or side of the bridge. Out the back door connect to miles of hiking and biking trails. There is truly something here for everyone! Just 10 minutes away there is Sugarbush Ski area, Mad River Glen, Blueberry Lake, Glider Rides, and Warren Falls. 45 min to Burlington, Lake Champlain and Stowe.
