About this farm stay rental
Beautifully finished wide pine flooring throughout this 1848 built historic home. Relax in the deep claw foot bathtub overlooking the Mad River. Enjoy a separate entrance with a private entry way that has plenty of room for your winter gear. There is a beautiful covered porch with a view of the historic Waitsfield covered bridge. The location cannot be beat, with only a half block walking distance to local swimming hole, restaurants, shops, and library. Walk to the Sweet Spot for breakfast and home from the Pheasant restaurant for dinner after a long day of skiing in the winter, or swimming in the summer. This one bedroom suite is also less than a block from the Mad Bus/Free Shuttle to local spots including Sugarbush Ski Resort, grocery stores, Lawson's, Mad Taco and other local stops. This suite has a king size bed with hotel quality sheets. It has and additional twin size bed as well. Enjoy plentiful storage for winter or summer gear. The room is complete with a mini fridge and microwave that is adjacent to the coffee barrel table. This suite is located in a separate upstairs wing inside the main home where the owners and their children reside. The doors to the main home will remain closed/locked for the privacy of both parties. There is non sight parking. The home owner is a licensed VT real estate agent.

We enjoyed this cozy and spacious ‘suite’. Much more room than a hotel - spacious bathroom, dinette area, and bedroom. Very clean!
Walked to Waitsfield for dinner via wooden pedestrian bridge.
Owners very responsive and helpful.
Would stay again!
