This apartment is the perfect choice for those seeking a comfortable and scenic retreat. The apartment is excellent, the only downside is the proximity of the busy road and the noise. Several very good restaurants and the beach are all very close, there’s a choice of 3 supermarkets if you wish to self cater. There’s buses into both Chania and Agia Marina virtually on the doorstep and very cheap.Overall we enjoyed our stay at Villa Sonja, the front view from the apartment is fantastic, the agent and owner are very both helpful and responded to our queries immediately. Just one item that we would like to bring to the owner’s attention is the sun loungers could do with replacing as several of the ‘stops’ are broken.

The pool is small and too cold for us but it is October. The sea is much warmer. The beach is across the street. The street is pretty busy but you do get used to it. Lots of parking beside. Lots of restaurants and stores walkable. Apartment is large but couch is low to the ground.

Very nice and clean property! The location was great, with the beach directly across the street and some great cafés and shops down the road. I would highly recommend staying here!
