Camping Chania

We had a wonderful stay at Camping Chania. The value for money is excellent, and it's definitely a place we would love to visit again. The campsite is beautiful, peaceful, family friendly, and very well organized, making it easy to find your way around. Bed linen, plenty of towels, and free parking were all provided. A special thank you to the entire staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always willing to help. They assisted us with arranging our airport transfer, helped us rent a car, and gave us great recommendations for day trips and places to visit. The campsite shop has very reasonable prices, and both Lidl and Synka supermarkets are just a few minutes away, making it very convenient for families. For families with children, we highly recommend Yannis Beach, which is only a five minute walk from the campsite.

It’s a great campsite with a great pool!

Nothing! It’s a fantastic site

It was the perfect stay for me and my friends. We had everything we needed, from cooking utensils, air conditioning, to a great pool on the camping site. There were very good restaurants in the area and the city center is easily accessible with a bus (25 minutes). The staff was always helpful and very friendly and the coffee at the pool bar is also delicious :)

In an ideal spot for exploring Chania. It is also next to several very good beaches. Swimming pool is pleasant although often quite crowded. The staff are all lovely and do their best.

The campsite is very run down. The mobile home we were in needed a lot of repairs. Shower curtain, leaky sink, very old stained linoleum floor. This was an inexpensive stay and we could cope with the facilities not being perfect. What was very problematic was the rubbish trucks that come every morning at about 4am: they reverse into the carpark outside the campsite with the reversing siren and it is impossible to sleep through. There isn't a lot the campsite people can do about this but it did really put a dampener on our stay.
