Relaxing and private getaway along Widgi Creek Golf course, surrounded by natural beauty of giant Ponderosa pines, the Deschutes River, and the snow-capped peaks of the Cascades. Less than 10 min drive from downtown Bend.

Easy highway access for excursions around Bend. Enjoy hiking, biking, fishing, kayaking, and skiing nearby. 15 min to Mt. Bachelor Ski Resort, direct access to cycling and river walking trails.

The home is very spacious and set up for visitors to enjoy their stay. The kitchen has everything for preparing meals with high end equipment and plenty of table ware. The bedrooms are large and two have lovely windows looking towards the golf course. The showers and soaking tubs are very nice but there is a limit on the hot water. We loved the coffee counter and it led to many coffee experiments. Overall the house is excellent but the carpets do need an update..clean but starting to show stains. The TV's are all streaming so bring passwords! It would be nice to access a local channel for local news during the stay. There may be a homeowners association rule about outdoor barbecues due to fire concerns, but there is no barbecue except a small electric ninja. Plan menus with that in mind. Overall, it was very quiet and a relaxing stay for us and a good choice with space for our size of group. It's an excellent starting place for biking and hiking along the Deschutes towards the rapids and falls. The golf course has public play and a good afternoon rate. It was a nice change to be away from the busy downtown area. Thanks for the good stay.

Amazing stay - best of both worlds, driving to the mountains or into town.Was a great part of our first experience of traveling to Oregon and we’d definitely love to stay again the next time we’re in town
