About this cabin rental
After a tranquil drive up wooded foothills, pull up to a cabin experience that your whole family will enjoy. This cozy cabin has all the amenities that your family will want for a memorable Smoky Mountain getaway. Cook meals in our fully stocked kitchen. Gather in the living room, turn on the fireplace, and enjoy a family movie night. Compete for the highest score on the arcade machine or soak your cares away in the hot tub. The cabin is conveniently located near excursions and attractions. We offer discounts on longer stays. Message us to inquire!
The cabin is located on the top of the Honeymoon Garden hill. The way up looks lightly steep, but it is suitable for al vehicles, sedans to minivans. The driveway can comfortably fit two large vehicles. You can also park near the basketball hoop.
Our cabin is in a wooded area on the outskirts of town, so although we regularly have the premises treated for pests, you may find spiders, insects, and animals that are expected in the Smokies such as foxes, raccoons, deer, bears, etc. The bears here are more afraid of you than you are of them. Give them space and do not feed them. Do not leave food outside the house and place all trash securely in the outside trash cans provided.
Though a rare occurance, during the hot summer months, smells from the landfill may waft over the hill. In these instances, keep the windows closed and enjoy our A/C system to stay cool.
Being out here also makes for good stargazing on a clear night! Bring a telescope or take a long exposure shot of the starry sky.
We highly recommend that you buy travel insurance when you book with us. We want to make sure that you get protection for unforeseen issues that would jeopardize your cabin vacation
Driveway can accommodate two large cars, and we have a small courtyard area by the basketball hoop that has space to park four more cars.

This cabin location is great just 7 minutes away from the island! Cozy set up. One of the games wouldn’t turn on but didn’t keep us from having fun! When we got there, the hot tub was set at 76 and also really not full of water but warmed up by night time. We enjoyed the kitchen and some cute decor there.

We came with 2 teens, 2 adults, and one elderly. This cabin was amazing- felt very secluded, but yet close to town. The teens enjoyed the hot tub and game room. Having a ramp for entry meant we could bring grandma. A few things to note- the hot tub is only accessible via the first floor master and the bathroom on the first floor master is not very accessible with a walker, but we were able to make it work well for us!

The cabin itself was spectacular. It was clean and well stocked with all the essentials mentioned in the listing. Our family enjoyed our stay and especially loved the porch chairs and swing as well as the hot tub. It was very nice for early morning coffee as well as winding down at night. We used the grill as well for a great BBQ chicken dinner and burgers. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we could have imagined. We felt very much at home and loved our stay. The owner contacted us a couple times to make sure our stay was good and to ask us if it was ok to do some quick maintenance. The only negative in the stay was the constant dust and construction on Ridge Rd during the week as they are doing construction. We did smell the landfill most days which was unfortunate. But the cabin itself, top notch!
