The Montenvers train, which takes you up the mountainside to the Mer de Glace, is also just a five-minute walk from the apartment. Additionally, the pedestrianised centre of town—with its great restaurants, bars, cafés and shops—is just a five-minute walk away. **The Details**

Apartment Fermes du Montenvers B2 features a bright open-plan kitchen/living/dining area which opens onto a generous west-facing balcony with outdoor furniture and fabulous views towards Le Brévent. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher and coffee machine, and the living room has a comfy sofa plus UK TV and a DVD player. A washing machine and tumble dryer mean you can pack lightly for longer stays.

There are two bedrooms; both have a flexible layout and can be set up as either a double or a twin. One bedroom has an en-suite shower room with WC, while the other has access to a separate bathroom with WC. Additionally, there is a sofa bed in the living room, meaning the apartment sleeps a total of five guests. Externally there is a covered parking space and a ski locker.

**What’s Included**

Self-catered bookings include linen and towels based on the standard guest configuration. If your apartment features a sofa bed and you require additional linen to accommodate maximum occupancy, a supplementary linen fee of €25 will apply. The rate also includes end-of-stay cleaning and the local taxe de séjour (tourist tax), which provides access to a Carte d’Hôtes. This card grants complimentary use of local trains and discounts on museum admissions and other attractions.

Standard check-in is available between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM, with check-out required by 10:00 AM. Please note that late arrivals may incur additional charges. If your apartment permits pets, additional fees apply. Dogs are charged at €15 per night per dog; however, cats are not permitted in any Alpes Agency apartments.

**Payment Terms and Cancellation**

To confirm the booking, you must pay 10% of the total cost. Along with the accommodation fee, you will be charged a local tourist tax of 4.6 euros per adult per night. The remaining balance will be automatically charged to the provided card 30 days before your arrival. You will receive an email notification prior to the balance being charged.

If you cancel your booking via email up to 30 days before arrival, you will receive a full refund. However, within 30 days of arrival, the booking becomes non-refundable.

Please note that a temporary damage deposit of €250 will be charged on the day of arrival and held for the duration of the stay. The deposit will be released upon check-out.

Great location for our ski trip. Nice property! Could use an on demand hot water heater though. Owner was very responsive to our water issue. Nice place, wonderful town, very friendly people and environment! Highly recommended Chamonix to anyone with an active lifestyle.

This apartment had everything we needed, and the hosts were responsive. It is close to a major road which means weekend road noise. If you are sleeping with the windows open, and are a light sleeper the noise will keep you awake. When you close the windows, very little sound makes it through. The apartment is located centrally to be able to walk to anywhere in town.
