We are so excited to add this legally permitted studio to our Waikiki vacation rentals. Located only a minute from Waikiki Beach, this piece of paradise on the 9th floor of a 10-story building provides unobstructed views. Instead of staring at another condo building, you'll see the greenery of Kapiolani Park, the Honolulu Zoo, Diamond Head, and Waikiki Beach. Yet it is very close to all the wonderful Waikiki Amenities.
We looked at rooms in this building for ten years and finally found this fantastic studio. We installed new granite counters, a full-size refrigerator, a kitchen sink, high-quality split air conditioning, a 40" flat-screen TV, and much more. Stay connected with complimentary high-speed fiber optic cable WIFI and enjoy streaming your favorite shows on Netflix, Amazon Video, and others on the internet-connected TV.

Save 25% on stays July 15–Dec 15, 2026 during the hotel's plumbing upgrade. Water and power stay fully on. Work is Mon–Fri, 8 AM–5 PM only, no weekends or holidays.
Because the work involves concrete, daytime sound may be noticeable throughout the building, even in units away from the active work zone. Elevators may also run a bit slower than usual during work hours.
With most activity happening on a daytime schedule, it's a great time to be out enjoying everything Waikiki has to offer — the beach is steps away, Diamond Head is a quick trip, and there's no shortage of ways to fill your day while we finish these long-term improvements.

It is an excellent location for those who love the outdoors. The lovely Kapiolani Park and the beach are across the street, where you can walk, run, surf, boogie board, swim, and even hike up Diamond Head! It is also the perfect location if laying on the beach is your form of exercise!
Is surf up? Just look out the window to find out! The prime boogie-boarding spot in Waikiki is only 1 minute away and we provide two adult-size boogie boards, two Tommy Bahama backpack beach chairs and a beach umbrella. Adjacent to the boogie-boarding site is a huge beach area protected by a sea wall that forms a gigantic saltwater pool with lifeguards for added safety.
This is a cozy, petite room, and the photos accurately show the space, so please take a look to make sure it suits your needs. The room opens onto your private lanai (balcony) with a table and chairs and unobstructed views of Diamond Head and the ocean. You'll also have access to the huge 10th-floor observation deck, with plenty of space to relax and enjoy the stunning views. The beach and huge park are steps away.
Paid parking is available at the on-site parking garage at one of Waikiki's most reasonable rates, especially considering that we are virtually across the street from the world's most famous beach.
The room comes with free private WIFI, flat-screen TV, cable TV, all linens, beach towels, full-size refrigerator, microwave, toaster, induction cooktop with pots and pans, coffee maker, toaster, dishes and utensils, iron and ironing board, two full-size boogie boards, 2 Tommy Bahama backpack beach chairs, and a small beach cooler.
The Waikiki Grand Hotel offers fantastic amenities, including a beautiful lobby (with a grand piano), front desk concierge services, a swimming pool, coin operated laundry facilities, a hamburger restaurant, another restaurant/bar, onsite parking garage, two elevator and the 10th floor boasts a remarkable observation deck with panoramic views of Diamond Head, Kapiolani Park, the Honolulu Zoo, and Waikiki Beach.

This place was great! The room is small but for the most part we were out and about anyway. It was really nice to have all of the beach essentials in the closet. The views from the lanai are gorgeous. Parking was a bit tricky as it’s in a very popular area but the front desk was really helpful in figuring out options. Highly recommend!

ProsProperty owner is very responsive.Beautiful view from the balcony.Super short walk to the beachConsReserved parking are small stalls in a garage below the hotel.Not super serious since we weren't in the room enough but TV is super outdated and not allowed to watch streaming services if you have the ad plans cause the tv doesn't allow ads. Only streaming services available on the tv are Netflix and Amazon.Pictures make the room seem bigger and cleanerTemperature of the shower is inconsistent but it is mentioned on the wall of the bathroomOne of the beach chairs were broken and the umbrella was kind of broken. Both were still usable.The room seems like it hasn't had a thorough cleaning in a couple years.
