About this house rental
Horse Creek Lodge in Sun West Ranches is a beautiful custom-built home with wonderful features like a screened porch and decks overlooking Horse Creek. Located an easy hour drive away from the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park, it’s a great place to land for park visiting. Three miles of the world-famous Madison River runs through the main ranch providing great fishing opportunities. The lodge has an open floor plan with a very roomy, comfortable living, dining, and kitchen area. The master bedroom with a full bathroom and king-sized bed is on the main floor. The lower level has a queen bedroom with a full bath and a third bedroom sleeps four in bunk beds and two more in single beds. Above the garage is a sleeping loft with a king bed and full bed. There is also a tv in the sleeping loft, but no bathroom.

We stayed at this fantastic house as a party of 7 and had the most wonderful time. We are from the UK and flew over for fishing on the Madison (which was amazing) and white water rafting through Bear Trap Canyon. Sun West is truly beautiful with magnificent views and the house is superbly positioned for both sun rise and sun set - we even saw a black bear early one morning. We would not hesitate to recommend this house and would love to come back! Thank you to Kathy Looney for all her assistance too.

This is a comfortable and accommodating home for the 8 adults and an infant we had staying here. There were enough bathrooms and bedrooms for everyone. It was nice to have areas of the house to be alone in, like the back deck, the back screened in porch, the loft area. Plus, there was an entire room in the basement that had extra hiking supplies you could borrow like Bear spray!
