Pet Policy:
Vista Cay Community HOA allows dogs under 35 lbs only.
2 dogs maximum allowed per unit.
(No other types of pets are allowed to stay at Vista Cay)
$99 per pet, per stay
This fee goes to the cleaning company to perform the deep cleaning required for the health and safety of future guests.
Any potential, incidental damage caused by said pet(s) will be the responsibility of the guest of registration and will be charged to the credit card on file.
There is no fee for service animals.
A pet fee is still required for all ESA dogs.
If an unauthorized pet is discovered, a $250 charge will be added to the guest's credit card on file for pet-friendly units or potential immediate cancelation of the reservation and no refund for non-pet-friendly units.
HIGH CHAIR AND PACK AND PLAY RENTAL:
High Chairs and Pack and Plays are available upon request.
The rental price for each is $10 a day + tax.
This charge goes towards the purchase, delivery, upkeep, and sanitization of the items :)

We stayed at the "Reserve at Vista Cay". We checked-in close to midnight but reception was quick, friendly and informative. Our 3-bedroom condo was perfect. It was super clean and well-stocked with kitchen items. Wonderful having a washer and dryer in the unit! Like some other, we had tiny ants in the kitchen (but hey, it's FL!) but nothing to spoil to our great week. The units are a very short walk to a mini-mall with ALL essentials including Publix grocery store (try their key lime pie) and "@ the Diner" - a super diner open for breakfast and lunch. The best part was the extensive pool area at the Reserve (we didn't even venture to the main pool and club house!) with splash zone, gorgeous new large walk-in pool, main pool and hot tub. The new pool bar was not open yet but looks lovely. You feel you're at a high end hotel - lush gardens areas and multiple pools. One day there was a food truck right outside the pool area (BBQ) - it was delicious. Highly recommend the Reserve at Vista Cay for location, amenities, cleanliness, and ease of booking.

This condo is more like a hotel suite. The couch is extremely stiff and uncomfortable, more like a fabric covered bench. The mattress on the master bed is very worn. The balcony overlooks the parking lot and very busy highway. This unit is not within walking distance of the office, exercise facility, main pool area and walking path (as pictured in the photos). There is another gorgeous pool area closer but it is adjacent to the backside of a retail area that includes restaurants, separated only by a fence and some landscaping. We enjoyed the pool as it typically was not busy during the day. The ant/bug problem that was referred to by someone else in the reviews has not been resolved. We saw many of them in the entry way, kitchen and master bath. We left a closed box of Krispy Crème donuts on the counter overnight and found several ants in it in the morning. When I opened a drawer in the kitchen there was also another large bug in the drawer. Location is close to Disney, Sea World, Top Golf, miniature golf, etc. Plan for several extra minutes for travel to any nearby destination as traffic is extremely heavy in this area.
