ABOUT DRYDAKIA VILLA
Drydakia Villa is a charming three-story villa.
The Villa's middle level includes an open plan, airy and spacious area consisting of a kitchen, dining room, living room and full bathroom.
This level leads via sliding French windows to the terrace, swimming-pool and garden. Another French door leads to the front balcony with a direct view over Souda Bay and a breakfast hatch to the kitchen.
Kitchen includes top of the range Indesit cooker, fruit juicer extractor, food processor, micro oven, coffee machine, hand electric blender, multi chopper and an Indesit fridge/freezer.
The swimming pool is large (12meter x 3.75 meter; 1.45 meter max depth) and includes a 2 meters paddling pool for toddles. Sun loungers, parasols and chairs are placed around the pool, the pool patio has a spacious shaded lounging and dining area, perfect for day and nighttime.
On the top floor level there are two double bedrooms with comfortable mattresses and top mattresses, built-in wardrobes, air conditioners, ceiling fans and adjoining toilet, bathroom/shower with bath. Hair dryers are provided in each of the three bathroom.
The bedrooms have a large balcony with stunning views overlooking Souda Bay, the Aegean Sea, and the surrounding area.
On the ground floor there is a large bedroom with a double bed, a double sofa bed, a single bed, built-in wardrobes and air conditioner. There is a separate bathroom/shower room. The bedroom has direct access to the pebble driveway and front garden.
Also, on this level there is a laundry room with washing machine, ironing facilities, and an extra refrigerator.
All windows and doors in the Villa have shutters, insect nets, and are double glazed.
The garden is extensive and layered, boasting both cultivated and wild trees, shrubs, and flowers, with mature trees especially Mediterranean oaks (hence the Villa’s name), wild flowers and herbs. There are many ways to enjoy the garden, including in seated in the lounge and cafe tables underneath the shady canopy.
The pebble driveway area is large and gives direct access the Villa’s lower level and to steps leading to middle level.
ABOUT VAMOS VILLAGE
Vamos village is around 800 m down the road. It is an active cultural village with a Jazz festival, Greek musical evenings, cooking & art lessons, tours into the mountains and local industry visits.
There many tavernas, two minimarkets, a bank with ATM machine, an English butcher, baker, cake shop, grocer, tourist office, hair dresser/barber, two petrol stations, as well as a variety of small and charming shops.
Also the regional Health Centre and Dentist surgery is based in Vamos.

This was a perfect venue for a family holiday the child friendly pool was ideal for young children and adults. The accommodation was excellent with lots of sunny and shady sitting and dining/barbecue areas. The hosts were excellent. We will definitely return.

Villa Drydakia is amazing.
All facilities needed are in the property for a great stay.
Pool is lovely, large and refreshing.
Gardens and wildlife are awesome.
Location is superb - less then 5 minutes drive and about 10 minutes walk into Vamos centre.
Cannot recoomend highly enough and will definately try to stay there again !!
