The house is comfortable and well stocked. It's a bit of a drive from everything, but you get a partial view of the gulf on a lovely deck, which is what we wanted. We loved using the giant janga on the deck and the outdoor shower to wash off the sand. The kids room has a sliding door to the deck, which I was not a fan of with younger kids, but great for older kids/adults. There is a connected half bath to the primary bedroom, which then connects to a closet sized room with a shower, and connects to the other half bath, which connects to the game table area. Weird layout, but the kids were fine with finding that bathroom in the middle of the night so it wasn't an issue for us. Loved that the deck has a gate so we didn't have to worry about our dog wandering off. You cannot leave your dog at the property alone, so be prepared to take your dog with you everywhere or find doggy daycare. We went to Jamaica Beach, you can have dogs there and drive/ park on the beach. There are also beach toys and yard toys in the ground floor laundry room/ bathroom, which the kids had fun with.

The home was perfect! Close to the beach, clean, and cute. The neighborhood was safe and clean as well with lots of space to walk a pet. Nighttime in the area was calm and soothing after a long day at the beach. Overall, amazing. Thanks to the host for providing an awesome place to stay.
