About this house rental
Nestled in the heart of Caddo Lake, Kahula Lodge is the ultimate escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Located at the end of a private road and situated on almost 3 acres, this one-of-a-kind lakeside cabin is truly a hidden gem. Wrap yourself up in natural beauty and take in the breathtaking views of Caddo Lake and the open water. *Offering easy water access, endless water skiing, fishing, kayaking, and canoeing await! (boats not included – see attachment for rental options)
Recently remodeled, the light and bright 2,000 square foot cabin features hardwood floors throughout. Still maintaining it’s original charm, the updated kitchen is fully equipped and lends the perfect place to cook a delicious meal.
Flooded with natural light, the oversized and open concept living and dining afford plenty of room to host family and friends. The dining room was made for effortless entertaining with banquet seating for 16.
From the dining, step through the French doors into the tranquil sunroom boasting with walls of windows bringing the outdoors in. Kick back and enjoy the stunning view of “Big Lake” and the towering cypress trees draped in spanish moss. Don’t overlook the eat-in dining area ideal for a cozy dinner or board games!
Step off the sunroom to a coffee deck overlooking the serene waters and view the lake up-close. Grab your binoculars and watch for ducks, birds and wildlife. Keep an eye out for deer, beavers, nutrias, woodpeckers, turtles….. and you might even see a friendly alligator.
Enjoy the many outdoor amenities including two boat slips, the secluded fenced backyard offering room for kids and pets to roam and a fun round of horseshoe.
When it is time to relax, head to the cozy master suite with an updated walk-in shower and granite countertops. Spacious king size bed awaits for a restful nights sleep.
Two comfortable guest rooms, an additional pull out sofa and twin bed offer ample room for all guest to sleep comfortably.

The view of the lake was excellent. Water pressure was very good. Everything was clean and the property owner was fast to respond to messages.

The lake view from the property is amazing and being a kayak fisherman the access to the lake made it very convenient. My dog loved the fenced yard and would bolt out the door to chase any bird or squirrel he could find. I was fishing in a tournament and had good fishing close to the property which was nice. Transaction and access to the property was as described and communication was good. Would highly recommend for fishing camp or family vacation.

Very nice property, but have plumbing problems in toilet and bathtub. We had 8 people to share one toilet in two days, called owner, but no one come to fixit. kitchen ware dirty and old and many stuffs shortage.
