About this farm stay rental
Come visit Jefferson, TX! Close to lakes, adventuring, and historic downtown Jefferson. Here you'll find antique shops, dining, live music, and more! The house is on 3 private acres with a huge privacy fence. The property is fenced in for the furry friends! You'll be comforted know your vehicle and boat and safe. There is plenty of space for a boat turn around. Relax on the front porch swing.
Inside the house is spacious with 3 bedrooms. The living room has a sofa bed for extra sleep space. The house has adult only and kid friendly games to play. The kitchen has lots of amenities including coffee, toaster oven, pots, pans, toaster, everything to make that fish you just caught! The dining room has tons of seating for playing games, eating, and spending quality time together. Down stairs there is a sauna for you to use and relax in. The laundry mud room does have a 2nd bathroom (toilet and shower) which was not listed because it is not enclosed. This is a perfect spot to undress and get clean after a day of adventuring.

FIRST thing was no electricity on in the house when we arrived. We immediately called host who did not know why electric was off. We were able to open outside breaker box & turn it on. The place was large & old. We did not see any bugs while there, ac & heat was good. However house was right on Hwy 59, & the traffic noise was LOUD. We had brought a box fan & it did cut down on the noise. It was pet-friendly for our dog. NOW although the house was basically clean, it needs a good deep cleaning, painting, etc. Its just an old house thats probably been neglected. We were comfortable with all the room & it had two baths, but the dryer did not get hot. We were very close to downtown Jefferson.

Difficult to get gate "unlocked",Bed was very cozy!, nice main bathroom, second bathroom not so great or warm; steep steps to get to.Very little comfortable seating for relaxing,one couch. Worst part was the traffic noise of semi trucks all night long.
