The Tucked Away Cabin is nestled in the forest on 2 acres while still remaining close to nearby restaurants, shops, and local attractions. The cabin boasts 3 comfortable bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large living space, and a spacious kitchen. Traveling is a breeze when you stay with us as the lodge is fully equipped with great amenities. Property offers an outdoor hot tub, fire pit, and great quality time. State Parks, lakes, canoe & kayaking, ziplining and so much more all located within a short distance from the property.
10 minutes down the road, guests will find Lake Logan which offers an abundance of relaxation by the water. Take a 15-20 minute drive from your cabin to visit Old Man’s Cave, Cedar Falls, Ash Cave, Rock House, Conkle’s Hollow, or Rock Bridge located in Hocking Hills State Park. No matter the season, you and your guests won’t be disappointed when visiting all the beauty Hocking Hills offers!
Relax, stargaze, or spend some quality time out by the campfire with family and friends. The Tucked Away is located 5 miles from Logan and 12 miles to Nelsonville, Ohio. The State Park offers over thousands of acres to explore by hiking, off-highway vehicle riding, mountain biking, or horseback riding. When in town, guests will want to visit Logan’s downtown, Nelsonville’s Historic Square Arts District, Stuart’s Opera House, Hocking Valley Scenic Railway, or the Nelsonville Music Festival that is held every year at Hocking College. Absolute perfection!! Went hiking at Lake Hope and Hocking Hills and loved coming back to the hot tub. Also the cabin was very clean and cozy!

Overall we had a great stay. The hot tub was wonderful and so relaxing after a day of hiking. There is a new covering over the patio area, which is a great addition, especially if it rains so there is still an outside space that is still usable. The fire pit was a nice place to gather around in the evening. There was a lot of debris in the bottom of the oven that could use a good cleaning as that did smoke a bit when we were cooking. The water out of the tap had a strong sulfur smell so I would recommend bringing some drinking and cooking water with you. There is no dishwasher, so if you don't want to be doing dishes I would recommend bringing paper plates.

I want to express my disappointment regarding the cleanliness of the property during my recent stay. Due to the poor conditions, we made the decision to leave early.Upon arrival, we found that the floors were dirty and had not been properly mopped. There was a significant amount of dog hair throughout the space, specifically on the blankets and sofas. The dog hair in the bathroom was so thick that we had to sweep the room ourselves immediately upon entering.It is a lovely property, and it was disappointing to find it in such a state. I hope you will address these maintenance issues to ensure a better experience for future guests.
