About this house rental
Located just minutes from downtown Helen this property is a great place to be friends and family.
Alpine Bear Trail features a spacious design that has a fully equipped kitchen with updated appliances. There is a combination coffee maker, giving you the option of making a pot of coffee with a standard drip maker or one cup at a time with a Keurig.
On the main level of the home you will also find a master bedroom with a private bathroom and king size bed. There is a guest bathroom in the hallway that is convenient to all guests throughout your stay. There is a second bedroom on the main level that features an additional queen size bed. Upstairs has a private bathroom, one king size bed and a twin size trundle bed which is great for keeping an ear out for the younger children during the night.
The front porch has a small sitting area with a gas grill that has propane supplied for your use. The new back deck features a hot tub for your pleasure.

The chalet was very nice and quaint and the perfect size for my family of four. The only thing that could have improved upon the stay was to have furnished full size soaps or shower gels in each of the bathrooms and to have had the basic kitchen seasonings like salt, pepper, and sugar. The past several homes I’ve rented for both weekend and weeklong stays have had each of the bathrooms stocked with full size shower gels, even laundry pods for the washing machines, and basic spices. We happened to bring our own seasonings just in case, but with the cost of renting the home and the cleaning fees, little gestures like the ones I’ve mentioned would have made me given a 5 star-rating like I have with previous rentals that provided these things.

We enjoyed our stay. The property was very comfortable and having downstairs bedrooms made accessabiliry easier for my elderly parents. We even had an exciting experience seeing a bear one evening!

The setup of the unit was excellent. Definitely had issues with the cleanliness of the property. The floors in the unit were filthy. I walked in my socks the day of arrival and they were filthy. Don’t believe floors were mopped prior to our arrival. The dryer in the unit took over 2 hours to dry towels and 1 1/2 hours for clothes to dry.
