About this house rental
What's not to love with this well thought out home and all it has to offer? All three bathrooms just completed renovation in April 2024!
The first floor consists of a large living room with ample beach-contemporary furniture providing seating for the whole family. Completing the living room is a large wall-mounted Smart TV for your pleasure.
Adjacent to the living room is the formal dining area with seating for six. The kitchen is large and open while providing all the necessities of home. With stainless steel appliances, two-tone updated cabinets and granite countertops it'll be a pleasure cooking a meal for the whole family. In the kitchen there's also a breakfast nook which seats four. Just off the kitchen is a newly renovated bathroom with custom walk-in shower.
Between the kitchen and living areas you'll find the study, which is an excellent area to read a book or have a conversation. There's also a two-person arcade game! Completing the first floor is a large Carolina Room with two separate tables which combined can seat eight guests. Upstairs you'll find all the bedrooms.
The Primary bedroom has a king bed, en-suite Primary bathroom and a private balcony which overlooks the huge backyard and lagoon! The newly updated Primary bathroom consists of a new two sink vanity and very large custom tiled walk-in shower! The first and second guest bedrooms each boast a queen bed and mounted HDTV. The third guest bedroom has a set of twin bunks and its own mounted HDTV. The newly updated guest bathroom on this floor is a tub and shower combination. There is an additional full guest bathroom which was just updated and is found downstairs next to the dining room.
Out back you're going to love your large patio with outdoor dining table and propane grill. The newly constructed pool is absolutely beautiful and features a large connected spa. The beach can be accessed by a short five minute or less drive, fifteen or so minute bike ride or by calling the Palmetto Dunes Buggy which is a seasonal and on-call shuttle service!
The spa and pool can be heated (June 1st - October 1st) for an additional fee.

Mid-November 2025 to Mid-March 2026 (Dates are subject to change)
This project, undertaken by Hilton Head Island/Beaufort County, is vital for protecting the shoreline, maintaining a wide and beautiful beach for everyone to enjoy, and ensuring the long-term health of the coastal ecosystem.
No pets are allowed at this property.

Our family really enjoyed the week staying at 37 Swing About. The location was great and the house itself was amazing. We loved the layout and the beds were very comfortable. We also enjoyed spending time in the pool. We would definitely rent this house again.

Our family of 10 enjoyed 5 days at 37 Swing About. It was the perfect size for us. The children all especially enjoyed the pool. While there was a small drive to get to most things like golf, the beach and restaurants, it was not an inconvenience. We also took advantage of the Dunes Buggy service a few times which was great. We loved dining at the Dunes House when at the beach and dinner at Alexanders was especially good. We would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking to stay at Palmetto Dunes.

We had a great stay for 6 adults and 3 kids under 3. While the pool was fantastic and the house layout was great, there were a few surprises. The pictures Kayaks and lagoon were off limits, chained shut? The tvs had no cable but required subscriptions and the front and back door latches would not close. You had to use the deadbolt to keep doors closed or locked. The staff did respond to a request for propane and the house was clean and spacious. We would definitely return and the beach shuttles were awesome!

Overall, this was a fantastic trip. We used Dunes Buggy Transportation several times. The house was as described and pictures are true. The pool was very nice. There is plenty of room for two families to stay and not feel like they are on top of each other. Located at the front of Palmetto Dunes one should expect to hear emergency vehicle sirens multiple times throughout the day and night. However, you can not hear other road noise. It’s a very nice area to walk or ride bikes. As with every PD rental we have stayed in, it could use a thorough cleaning. There is a leak under the kitchen sink. We had to call maintenance out due to the downstairs bathroom door nearly off of the hinges (held on by one screw) and because the outside outlet didn’t work. The outlet next to the blue cabinet in the kitchen also has a short in it. Sometimes it would work and other times it would not. Maintenance did not find that the outside outlet had tripped the breaker. We assume it has a short like the kitchen outlet.
