At Point Prospect Shores, you can enjoy the gorgeous ocean views from your bedroom, or while enjoying an evening on the back deck. This condo is truly the perfect place for a fun and relaxing vacation. There are great amenities including tennis courts, a basketball court, a playground and a boat ramp, located just across the street in the rest of the community area. Beach access is also just steps away for a day in the sun, or you can spend the day lounging at the pool! A Premier Linen Package is included with your reservation. **Each unit is limited to two parking passes. If additional parking is needed for visitors or extra vehicles, parking may be available through the Beacon's Reach HOA for $50 per week. The HOA office is located at 510 Salter Path Road, off of Beacon Reach Drive. Please contact Spectrum Rental Properties for the HOA office contact information.
Guests may also rent a boat slip during their stay (this is an additional fee). Boat slip rentals are coordinated through the marina. The preferred method of contact is by email. Please contact Spectrum Rental Properties for contact information.**
BED CONFIGURATIONS:
1 King Bed and 1 Pyramid Bunk (Twin on top and Double on bottom) w/Twin Trundle
WHAT IS PROVIDED:
Spectrum Rental Properties will provide sheets and bath towels. Beach towels and equipment is not provided. If you would like information on beach equipment rentals, we are more than happy to provide you with a list. Properties will be provided with a starter kit in each full bathroom and kitchen. Each kitchen starter kit will contain a small bottle of dish soap, two dishwasher pods, sponge, and two fragrance free laundry pods. The kitchen will also have one extra trash bag
Each bathroom starter kit will contain a travel size shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, makeup wipe, and body bar.
Spectrum Rental Properties is unfortunately not able to provide additional boxes/bags. This is a starter kit; anything additional will be guests responsibility to provide.

-Located on the 3rd floor of building C
-No pets allowed
-No smoking allowed
-Only 2 parking passes allowed
-The Community Pool is open April 1 through October (weather permitting)

The home was well apportioned in terms of space of all the rooms. The master bedroom has one of the best king size mattresses I've slept on and had a fantastic view of the ocean as did the main room. The place also had great proximity to the beach (a 2 minute walk at most). Loved the tall table and chairs on the screened in patio as well. Everything worked well, which is/was a first for me. The name is a bit weird for the place and the mix of cat "stuff" with old american style was unusual but that's was just a minor aesthetic.

A fantastic location right on the beach with a pool, parking for two cars, a really great screened porch overlooking the pool and beach, and an elevator to carry bags in and out on moving day. Overall I loved this spacious unit and can recommend it for sure, but know this, while superficially clean, it still felt a bit dirty and could use a really deep clean...for example, its definitely a rental unit, the sofas are stained, there is greasy dust on books, dvds, side tables, lamps, etc, while many were clean, some of the dishes/pans/mixing bowls had bits of food or grease on them, and the no-skid mat in the master bathroom is stained and has black mildew. The DVD player in the master bedroom has a sign which looks permanent saying the DVD player is out of order and I couldn't get TV in that room either.
VRBO said there was access to an outside storage closet with Beach Equipment and Accessories, but I wasn't left a key and when I called about it was told I did not have access to that closet, so no chairs, umbrellas, etc were available even when advertised they would be.
I'll say again, even after all this complaining, I'd rent this unit again for its location alone, just passing on my experience so others may be prepared. This was my first time to Pine Knoll Shores and I loved how quiet and non-commercial it is.
