About this house rental
Very unique property on Lake Honeoye. 107 feet of waterfront with dock and boat lift as well as a fine pebble beach area. Lakehouse fully renovated in 2016 to include a gourmet kitchen as well as an updated bathroom. 2 bedrooms downstairs which sleeps , five people. Upstairs has a second full bath as well as a large bunk room that sleeps eight. Upstairs also has a separate change room with a sink and is often used as a bedroom for children. Off the kitchen is a 450 square foot deck steps away from the lake. Property has the only heated inground pool on the lake as well as a hot tub and Sauna. Two separate living areas both with their own decks over looking the lake, one room has a wood burning stove and the other a gas firplace. All beds have new memory foam mattresses and furnishings are all new. For use are 2 one man kayaks, a canoe, dock, andWeber kettle charcoal grill. Lake offers great fishing and amazing sunsets. New in 2020 is a stone patio at waters edge with a firepit.

First, our hosts Ed and his wife were attentive, friendly, and very responsive. A minor problem that arose was settled in minutes. I cannot say enough about how good they were from the booking process all the way through our stay. The house itself was exactly as described on the website, a fact that we found remarkable considering other houses we have rented in the past. All the rooms were clean and the kitchen was very well stocked with pots, pans, cooking utensils and dish ware. The downstairs bathroom is large and features a huge walk in shower. The outdoor area is amazing. The fire pit area is right on the lake. I highly recommend both the property and its owners.

Great location and lay out especially if you are traveling with children. Kayaks and canoe are great amenities. Outdoor grill is very nice. Located close to stores, breweries, etc.

House was lovely, plenty of room/ seating for everyone, good kitchen, nice location. On the lake with kayaks and a canoe, hot tub, and pool. My wife and I with our two adult daughters and their partners enjoyed a nice quiet mellow relaxing week. We really never left the house. Would consider visiting again. Ed was a great host.

A lovely stay for a family gathering! The mature trees on the shoreline frame a beautiful view and provide shade on hot afternoons. It is fun to alternate between the lake for kayaking and the pool for swimming. The fishing in the cove is excellent. The kitchen is well equipped and the house clean and well maintained. The owner was very responsive when we had a glitch in the air conditioning one day. The second floor is ideal for tweens and teens as they can be together and still have their own space. Wi-Fi access was seamless for those who had to handle work issues. Highly recommend.
