About this cabin rental

This property is located in the heart of Alta in a quiet wooded setting. It is a great base for hiking, fishing and skiing in the Tahoe basin. It is 30 minutes from Boreal Ski resort and 45 min from Truckee. We have a huge deck with a BBQ, great for relaxing while having a cup of coffee, or just visiting with family and friends. Plenty of room around the property for the kids and a fire pit to enjoy at night. There is also access to a community pool in Dutch Flat 5 minutes away. This cabin was built in 2010 as my parents summer home and has all the comfort and conveniences. Owners live on site in the separate main house.

Definitely a great place to relax and enjoy the woods. The sound of the breeze in the trees blowing and the smell of the Pine and Douglas Fir is so amazing. The cabin had plenty of room for the 4 adults in our group. There was a Nespresso coffee maker that topped off our mornings very well. Plenty of pans for cooking if desired. The pictures posted for the property don’t do it justice.

Lovely hosts, even had fresh flowers. The views of animals and birds from the massive windows were amazing! Such a peaceful retreat, yet shopping and restaurants not far away.Many little touches, including half and half for coffee waiting in the fridge, are so appreciated. Plenty of supplies in the kitchen for preparing a gourmet meal and storing leftovers!Had so much going on that I forgot to sign the guest book! Hope to come back soon!

great, cabin was absolutely beautiful. Three nights and two days was not anought. Hope to do it again, but with longer stay. Rooms where very clean, host was very nice and helpful, kitchen had everything we needed.
