This charming renovated longhouse is nestled within a 1-hectare park adorned with a large cherry tree, pear tree, plum tree, a weeping willow, an espalier orchard and tall trees bordering the property.
The rather modern furniture contrasts with the period features of the old house; interior timber framing, charming original small doors, remarkable beamwork… The carefully chosen colours of Farrow and Ball paints give the whole an understated atmosphere.
The very large living room is enhanced by a wood-burning stove in the brick fireplace. The kitchen, opening onto a small terrace, is equipped with a refrigerator with small freezer, a small tabletop refrigerator, an induction hob, extractor hood, oven, toaster, electric kettle, traditional and capsule coffee maker. In the scullery there is a double sink and small dishwasher. And next to it, in the entrance, an independent WC. Continuing from the kitchen, the dining room with its wood-burning stove in the fireplace. Next, the ground floor ends with a master suite consisting of its bedroom with a 160 cm bed, a dressing room, a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, and finally a bathroom with bath-shower and WC. The upper floor is dedicated to 3 cosy bedrooms, 2 of which are en suite. On one side a 140 cm double bed, on the other a 160 cm double bed then two 90 cm single beds in the third bedroom. They are served by a shower room with WC.
