Magnificent very comfortable house completely renovated in 2013/2014 completely redone a very nice bathroom 2 bedrooms a living room and fitted kitchen everything is new, very nice and bright, quiet, comfortable disabled access, we accept smokers and animals. Access from Mont Saint Michel is very fast 2 km from the Mont Saint Michel car parks or 20 minutes on foot

The only negative relating to this stay was the weather, and we don’t hold the VRBO manager responsible for that. And the weather could have been much worse. It was really just a little too cold for those of us from Hawaii.
Hundreds, perhaps thousands, braved the cold to walk out to Mont St Michel, and there were people wading in the water to the side of the raised road and walkway.
We enjoyed a very nice dinner at the recommended restaurant just across the street in front of our house. The house, itself, was very well appointed with everything that we needed. With the manager living right next door, there would have been no problem getting assistance if we needed help with anything, but everything worked just fine.
The WiFi was a little bit weak in the house, but it worked. It did work better at the table just outside the back door, since the router is set up on that side of the house.
I would say that we hope to return some day, but at 76, living in Hawaii, that is a fairly unrealistic wish.

We stayed only 2 nights in this charming little house and wish it was longer. This is a great location to visit Mont Saint-Michele and the surrounding areas. It was summer when we visited and the gardens were in full bloom and there was a nice sitting area right out front to relax. There was plenty of space for our family of 4 (2 adults + 2 kids). The kids enjoyed the trampoline in the yard. We were in the downstairs unit and someone else had the upstairs unit, but they had their own separate entrance and it's all completely separate and locked, unless you have a large group and then you can open it up. We couldn't even hear anything from upstairs the entire time we were there.
The owner is extremely nice and speaks English better than our French, which was helpful. He made some restaurant recommendations and explained how to walk up to Mont Saint-Michele. From the house all the way to the top of the abbey is 2.9 miles, but it's flat until you get to the island. You can also drive closer and walk or take a bus, but parking is 14 Euros and the walk was nice.
Overall I highly recommend this property and think it is even nicer looking than the pictures.

This property has been modernised and all the appliances in the kitchen and the bathroom function well. It is a few minutes drive to the car park from where you can catch the shuttle bus to mont st michel (it's not possible to drive all the way to mt st michel). There are also a few restaurants and shops just over the road and the owner lives next door in case of any issues. The house is divided into two (upstairs and downstairs) although no one was staying in the other part when we were there

We had a lovely stay. Hilaire was the perfect host! Just the right size of Home for our family and outstanding for children. Our host even let the kids collect their own eggs from his chickens! Walk a few feet and you can see Mont St Michele in front of you, even the little town where the home is located is so charming. Thanks Hilaire!
