The apartment can accommodate up to 3 guests, with a living area that features a relaxing sofa and a flat screen TV, dining area, and fully-equipped kitchen with all the appliances. This apartment has a great balcony ideal to enjoy Barcelona's summer days.



The apartment is 3 minutes from Metro Plaza de Catalunya (Red Line L1 & Green Line L3).

Welcome to this 102 m2 spacious and bright flat in a historical building located next to the emblematic centre of Barcelona, Plaça Catalunya.



We manage other apartments in the same building, ideal for business groups and big families!

The Neighborhood:

Dreta de l'Eixample is a neighborhood in the Eixample district of Barcelona. It includes Plaça de Catalunya, the centre of the city, and the upscale streets Rambla de Catalunya and Passeig de Gracia. It is the bourgeois neighborhood of the city, which makes the majority of its population belong to the upper class of Barcelona. Dreta de L'Eixample is one of the most luxurious neighborhoods of Barcelona.



Getting Around:

The closest metro station is Plaça Urquinaona (Lines 1 & 4).

The quickest way to go to the airport would be taking the bus "Aerobus" at Plaça Catalunya, in front of "El Corte Inlges". The cost is around 4.5€



Other Things to Note:

*** TOURIST TAX & REGISTRATION PROCESS ***



- Since 2012 the Catalan administration requires that every guest staying in a hotel room or renting an apartment in Catalunya contributes with a small city tax fee of 9.50€ per guest (over 17 years old) per night up to a maximum of 7 nights. This cost IS NOT included on your reservation.



- National and International police demand that each guest, prior to their visit to Barcelona, would send information of their IDs or passports. This is mandatory, as it is stated in Catalan Law, and all legal touristic establishments are required to do so.



- This apartment uses a self-checkin system via the Chekin platform that will allow you to register all guests on the reservation

and pay the mandatory tourist taxes before your arrival.



*** CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT ***



Check-in time is at 17:00 hrs

Check-out is at 11:00 am (non-agreed late check-outs will incur on a 100€ charge per hour late)



*** HOUSE RULES ***



1. Parties, drugs, loud noise or any kind of disturbance towards the neighbors are completely forbidden, with a penalty of 400€ and possible eviction

2. Please observe quiet time between 10pm - 9am.

3. Respect your neighbors and be respectful in common areas (hallways, entrance, elevator, stairs).

4. Loss of keys will have a 100€ charge per key lost.

5. Smoking on interior areas will have a charge of 100€ + all cleaning fees involved.

6. Guests take full responsibility for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities.

7. Please leave the apartment in a respectable condition.



Not following those rules will incur on a monetary sanction and the full responsibility of any fines from the local administration or authorities.

enjoyed it. location is fantastic. upstairs bathroom has the funky smell. leave the plastic cover over the shower drain tightly. it will be much less.

The location is great. Closed to the Ramblas street. We can walk easily to all of the Casa of Gaudi for visiting and closed to a lot of restaurant, boutique and Metro.

The best attribute: Location, location, location! Across from a department store with a grocery store in the basement, taxi stand across the street, walking distance to Gothic quarter/Las Ramblas, good coffee shop downstairs. Can't beat it! The apartment itself was just OK. Some repairs needed (fridge didn't close properly, shower head wouldn't stay up, missing some light bulbs) and the twin bedroom is a loft so can get noisy. All things considered: it's a good value for the price given location, but I expected higher quality based on photos.

When we arrived my master bathroom had large dirty footprints on the floor. The overall feeling was a little shabby. e.g. the large salon light fixture was hanging down from the ceiling, the louvered doors in the salon were missing many vents. The smell from the upstairs bathroom was very unpleasant and the balcony6 view was very dissapointing but the most dangerous thing was that there had been a quick repain to the itchen corner floor transition and my niece caught her toe, as it lifted, and bled quite profusely. I have photos of all of this. June R Scott
