The apartment can accommodate up to 5 guests, with a living area that features a relaxing sofa and a flat screen TV, dining area, and equipped kitchen. We manage other apartments in the same building, ideal for business groups and big families!
APARTMENT DISTRIBUTION:
The apartment has a capacity for up to 5 people distributed in 3 bedrooms:
- Bedroom 1: 1 Double bed
- Bedroom 2: 1 Double bed
- Bedroom 3: 2 Individual beds
SPECIAL FEATURES OF THE APARTMENT:
- Located right by Plaza de Catalunya square - the main city center of Barcelona!
- Aerobus stop to the airport right in front of the apartment, also several metro and train lines
- Spacious living room with a large dinning area, ideal for big groups. Also small balconies overlooking Eixample!
- Sunny private terrace - patio, ideal for a summer day! ☀️
- Very quiet bedrooms, all of them interior and away from the busy street, ideal for a good night's rest
- 2 Full bathrooms
- TV and Wi-fi

The Neighborhood:
The Eixample is a modernist district that stretches from Plaça de Catalunya and includes both residential and business areas. It is the neighbourhood where you can find Carrer de Valencia, in which the apartment is situated. It’s known for its grid system of straight streets, which was built in the 1860s to accommodate the city’s rising population. There are many restaurants and cafes in this region, which is full of modernist structures with stone and iron embellishments on their façade.
The left side of the Eixample is the largest neighborhood in this district. It's a great area to explore on foot, with a wide variety of bars offering live music and local shops, as well as great terraces where you can kick back and relax over a coffee. In this neighborhood, the large number of restaurants that offer a type of cuisine with a more avant-garde style stands out. In this neighborhood there are the Can Battle¡s three buildings (currently the Industrial School), the former prison La Modelo, the park Joan Miró located in the emplacement of the former city's slaughterhouse, the bullfighting ring Las Arenas, which is nowadays a commercial center, and the Casa Golferichs.
Getting Around:
The closest metro station is Universitat (Lines 1 & 2).
The quickest way to go to the airport would be taking the bus "Aerobus" at Plaça Catalunya, in front of "El Corte Inlges". The cost is around 4.5€
Other Things to Note:
*** TOURIST TAX & REGISTRATION PROCESS ***
- Since 2012 the Catalan administration requires that every guest staying in a hotel room or renting an apartment in Catalunya contributes with a small city tax fee of 9.50€ per guest (over 17 years old) per night up to a maximum of 7 nights. This cost IS NOT included on your reservation.
- National and International police demand that each guest, prior to their visit to Barcelona, would send information of their IDs or passports. This is mandatory, as it is stated in Catalan Law, and all legal touristic establishments are required to do so.
- This apartment uses a self-checkin system via the Chekin platform that will allow you to register all guests on the reservation
and pay the mandatory tourist taxes before your arrival.

Check-in time is at 17:00 hrs
Check-out is at 11:00 am (non-agreed late check-outs will incur on a 100€ charge per hour late)
*** HOUSE RULES ***
1. Parties, drugs, loud noise or any kind of disturbance towards the neighbors are completely forbidden, with a penalty of 400€ and possible eviction
2. Please observe quiet time between 10pm - 9am.
3. Respect your neighbors and be respectful in common areas (hallways, entrance, elevator, stairs).
4. Loss of keys will have a 100€ charge per key lost.
5. Smoking on interior areas will have a charge of 100€ + all cleaning fees involved.
6. Guests take full responsibility for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities.
7. Please leave the apartment in a respectable condition.
Not following those rules will incur on a monetary sanction and the full responsibility of any fines from the local administration or authorities.

Easy walk to everything including Casa Batlló and Casa Milà. The full size beds were comfortable but the 2 twin beds were uncomfortable. It was nice to have 2 bathrooms, but the shower stall in smaller bathroom was too small to comfortably shower in … the shower curtain kept touching your body as you showered, so we all just used the main bathroom. There’s a washer but no dryer so you have to hang-dry clothes. Otherwise the apartment was pretty comfortable.

The property was in a great location. It was easily walkable to many locations including train station and the metro. The property was also very clean. On the occasion when we had an issue they were very prompt in correcting the issue.

We enjoyed our stay in this apartment. There were few hiccups but the property management addressed all of them in a timely manner. Also, it was very helpful to have someone stop by the first day and show us how to use the heating units and other issues so that we do not overload the electric breakers. This informative session truly made our stay a pleasant one. Moreover, the location is truly Awesome and close to everything! The digital key was very easy to navigate. We will definitely use this place if we are to come back to Barcelona.

Nice people running the place - responsive when we had issues. However, the place is not safe for young children. The kitchen and bedrooms were clean, but the main bathroom and other areas of the house, are really nasty. Broken curtains, filthy blinds, warped floor boards that we tripped over constantly, open outlets with no covers, black mold in the shower. A broken shower head that fell and hit our faces constantly. The patio was a mess when we arrived, dirty, broken furniture and tiles just sitting around. Our washer flooded while we were there and we called them - they repaired it. Then, the restaurant below called one day and asked us to stop using one of the bathrooms because when we flushed, the water went into their restaurant! So, we had only one bathroom for two days until they sent someone out. Talk about stressful.If the apartment were clean, it could be great. But, nobody liked this rental. The photos on the VRBO listing are quite deceiving. This is the kind of place that is driving us back to hotels, honestly. I’m over stays like this. 3,000 for a week in a dirty apartment with unsafe elements for kids.I want to mention that we were provided with one white towel per person for the entire week. There were no linens in the kitchen or elsewhere, so when we had floods (washing machine & shower leaked), we had to use our clothing to control the water on the floor until we could run to the store and buy some towels. So many things wrong with this place.
