The Collection Barcelona welcomes you to our modern and bright 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom flat, located at the heart of Barcelona's City Center, perfect for those traveling with children or friends. The neighborhood is safe and family-friendly with plenty to do on your doorstep. The apartment is located next to Gran Via de Les Corts avenue and Plaza Universitat.
The Space:
Welcome to this 95 m2 spacious and bright flat in a historical building located next to Gran Vía de les Corts Catalanes and the emblematic centre of Barcelona, Plaça Catalunya. Barcelona’s historic Example district is an ideal spot for art and culture lovers, containing some of the most emblematic monuments and museums of the city.
⚠️ VERY IMPORTANT Please note the apartment is located in a residential building, where neighbors live here all year around and it is our obligation to respect their rest. Please make sure before confirming your reservation you can adhere to the simple House Rules that are detailed below. Failure to accept and follow those will result on a monetary sanction and eviction from the property with no refund for the remaining nights.
APARTMENT DISTRIBUTION:
The apartment has a capacity for up to 6 people distributed in 2 bedrooms:
- Bedroom 1: 1 Double bed
- Bedroom 2: 1 Double bed
- Living room: Double sofa bed (not the one in the pictures, this has been replaced by a new one)
SPECIAL FEATURES OF THE APARTMENT:
- Spacious living room with an open layout to a well equipped kitchen
- Balconies overlooking Eixample accessed from the living room!
- AC and heating in the living room
- 2 Full bathrooms
- Elevator in building
- Baby crib and high chair available under request and availability, kindly send us a message in order to confirm please
- Bed linens (and comforters during winter season) and bath towels (one shower towel per guest) will be provided!
- The apartment will be professionally cleaned before your arrival
- Paid parking off premises

Guest Access:
- The apartment is all for you, 100% privacy!
- After your reservation is confirmed, you will be requested to self-register via Chekin platform, where you will need to register all guests and pay the mandatory tourist taxes.
- Virtual keys will be provided on your same check-in day.
- During your reservation you will have 24/7 assistance from me and my team!
The Neighborhood:
The apartment is conveniently located 5 minutes away from Gran Via de las Cortes Catalanes avenue and in the very middle of Eixample district. This elegant, majestic boulevard was a showcase for Barcelona's bourgeoisie at the turn of the 19th century, and links the the whole Example district. The presence of Barcelona's finest modernista buildings makes this avenue a veritable open-air museum.
Other Things to Note:
*** TOURIST TAX & REGISTRATION PROCESS ***
- Since 2012 the Catalan administration requires that every guest staying in a hotel room or renting an apartment in Catalunya contributes with a small city tax fee of 9.50€ per guest (over 17 years old) per night up to a maximum of 7 nights. This cost IS NOT included on your reservation.
- National and International police demand that each guest, prior to their visit to Barcelona, would send information of their IDs or passports. This is mandatory, as it is stated in Catalan Law, and all legal touristic establishments are required to do so.
- This apartment uses a self-checkin system via the Chekin platform that will allow you to register all guests on the reservation
and pay the mandatory tourist taxes before your arrival.
*** CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT ***
Check-in time is at 17:00 hrs
Check-out is at 11:00 am (non-agreed late check-outs will incur on a 100€ charge per hour late)
*** HOUSE RULES ***
1. Parties, drugs, loud noise or any kind of disturbance towards the neighbors are completely forbidden, with a penalty of 400€ and possible eviction
2. Please observe quiet time between 10pm - 9am.
3. Respect your neighbors and be respectful in common areas (hallways, entrance, elevator, stairs).
4. Loss of keys will have a 100€ charge per key lost.
5. Smoking on interior areas will have a charge of 100€ + all cleaning fees involved.
6. Guests take full responsibility for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities.
7. Please leave the apartment in a respectable condition.
Not following those rules will incur on a monetary sanction and the full responsibility of any fines from the local administration or authorities.

Had a great time in Barcelona with my youngest daughter. The flat was very well maintained and clean. We even had a chance to leave our bags the day we arrived from America, while the place was being cleaned. All in all, it was a great stay and the host (owner) was very prompt to answer any concerns I may have had prior to our arrival!

Just as the name suggested, the unit has been bright and cozy during our stay.
We visited in late February/early March, when the weather was still pretty cold.
The unit does come with small portable heaters to help with the cold. Otherwise, appliances and facilities are complete and convenient to use.
The metro station is very close by, making it a convenient location to stay at.
We had a slight hiccup during our arrival, but the team is readily available on Whatsapp to provide support and quickly resolve the issue we faced.

Location was great and, on the surface, it was quite a lovely flat. Bathrooms were less than thoroughly cleaned. Hair on the floors and in the shower. Pillows were so moldy that I experienced an extreme allergic reaction that came close to ruining our trip. Had to sleep on piles of my own clothes in order to breathe. Had to extend our stay by a day because I was too sick to move on.
