About this house rental
Our house is on 3 forested acres in a safe gated community. My adult son and I live on the property so someone is always here if you need anything. There is an attached in-law suite that I or a current guest reside in. We are a 20 minute drive from the town of Qualicum Beach as well as the beach. 10 minute walk or 3 minute drive from the back entrance to Little Qualicum River Falls. We are on a mountain with lots of places to walk or ride bikes. Hiking trails, lakes and lots of activities throughout the surrounding areas. Come and enjoy our peaceful home.

We had an amazing five-month stay. Whether in winter, spring, or summer, the house is perfectly equipped for every season. Everything is spotless, well maintained, and fully functional, making long-term stays very comfortable. We slept wonderfully throughout our stay, as there are beds and pillows for every taste (firm or soft).Valerie and Travis were wonderful and helpful hosts. Communication by email, phone, and messages before and throughout our stay was always friendly and almost instantaneous (which was especially convenient for coordinating laundry).The property offers plenty of privacy, and the neighbourhood is quiet and safe. It's just a 3-minute drive to the back entrance of Little Qualicum Falls Provincial Park (which we absolutely loved!) and only 10 minutes from the Island Highway, making it a perfect base for exploring Vancouver Island in any direction.

The bedrooms were nice. The beds comfortable. The only things really lacking in the kitchen were a kettle and a scrubber for the dishes. The living room was large but only one small couch and a small chair so nowhere for 3 people to lounge comfortably . The place really needs a manual to tell you how to turn on fans, lights, etc..
