• The entire exterior of the property is treated with scheduled pest management. With that being said, the property is in the woods of a large nature reserve, so an occasional bug sighting comes with the territory.

• Location is important in the mountains! The major cell phone carriers have no issue with phone signal.
• Located in a gated community (Coosawattee River Resort) with 24/7 security, so safety is of no concern.
• There are many entrances to our resort community, but ours is located near the closest entrance for easy access to all the activities, orchards, vineyards, hiking trails, shopping, and local restaurants.
• Easy Check in available with keypad and smart lock with personalized key code.
• All roads leading to us are paved roads and well maintained except the last bit of driveway which is an easy-going gravel road that any car can do no problem. We are also only a few minutes from all the best restaurants and shops in the area!

The Property is in Coosawattee River Resort which is a 5,500-acre, gated community and nature preserve in the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains in Ellijay, GA. Ellijay is the Apple and Mountain bike capital of Georgia with endless activities to enjoy! We are also located near many national forests preserves as well! Many deer call this neighborhood home, and I can almost guarantee you will see them in their natural habitat each day!
It also offers many amenities for free! Your Stay includes access to all 5 parks, access to the river tubing (tube not included) and rope swing, Picnic Area with Charcoal BBQ Grills, fishing pond (No License required), Fenced in Doggy Park area (Large and Small dog separation). We are a dog friendly property so furry friends are welcome!
There are also a number of paid amenities, but your stay includes 8 free passes for your entire stay! Amenities include an Indoor (heated pool)/outdoor pools, mini golf (putt putt), pickleball, basketball and tennis courts, workout room (weights, exercise bike, elliptical, treadmill), and arcade w/ pool table, ping pong, air hockey and arcade games. I would recommend a day at the pool followed by a round of mini golf in the early evening! If more than 8 passes are needed, they can be purchased at the HOA office. Please leave passes when you check out otherwise there is a $100 replacement fee.

Nice house and wooded property. You will be visited by many deer everyday. Neighbors are far enough away that they are rarely heard. The house was in excellent condition and the host communicated almost everyday to check on things. During the stay we had a couple of questions and an issue with an appliance that were quickly answered and resolved. There is an indoor game room, a theater room, and outside activities available include hot tub, corn hole, bocce and a fire pit. Overall we had a wonderful time with twelve family members total.

This house was great for our family. Thirteen total, we need lots of beds and lots of space. We fit the 5 boys downstairs on the bunks and trundle bed, 2 girls on a king, and the adults took the others. Plenty of games for the kids in the afternoon when they were tired from hiking, or when it rained. Great back deck with fire pit to make s'mores, and an area for bocce ball or corn hole (or for the deer that liked to chill on the fake grass!). Hot tub was great until we broke one of the jets...sorry! Jason was great and understanding. And don't worry, he got it fixed. He responded quickly to any of our questions. The hike to Tumbling Waters waterfall at Carter's Lake was worth it to play in the falls. Cartecay tubing was so good we did it twice. Thanks for the great stay!
