About this farm stay rental
We are a farmstay with barnyard animals located on acres of farmland.
We are 3 minutes off Exit 299 on I-65 halfway between Huntsville and Birmingham. We are 7 minutes from Smith Lake Park and have plenty of parking for multiple boats and ATV's. We are 10 minutes to Stony Lonesome ATV park and offer free boat launching at Hames Marina. We are close to the Shrine in Hanceville and 15 minutes from Ave Maria Grotto and Saint Bernard Preparatory School. We are close to the Rock the South concert and Heritage Park and Wildwater Park. There are several playgrounds minutes away. Discover the gorgeous landscape that surrounds this family farm.
There is nothing more peaceful than sitting on the porch in the morning listening to the birds chirp. There are 3 ponds on the property full of all types of wildlife and wonderful ecosystems.

Host very welcoming and the house is homey. The wecoming committee is fabulous..chickens cats and especially the baby goat. My granddaughters loved feeding and petting animals and the little dark cat tolerated being carried as one of my girls just really loved holding her. We will stay here afain whenever we visit the area.

My family and I really enjoyed staying at this home for a quick getaway. The house was so clean and comfortable. We loved feeding the animals and we all fell in love with the baby goat and kitten. The beds were so comfy and we had all the kitchen supplies needed to cook up a scrumptious breakfast including fresh eggs that we gathered in the morning. We will be back to visit again.

We were pleasantly surprised by this place. We needed a place for our family to stay for a wedding in the area and this was perfect! The home was comfortable and plenty of space for us. The animals were such a nice treat and exactly what we didn’t know we needed. Would highly recommend The Sunshine house for a relaxing getaway with loved ones.
