About this cottage rental
Beautiful stone house with a 3,000 m² enclosed, landscaped garden, located 1 hour 30 minutes from Paris, 30 minutes from Orléans, and 10 minutes from the nearest châteaux.
This century-old house was completely renovated in 2023 in a modern style that respects its age. All bedding and linens are new and of high quality. The upper floor is air-conditioned.
A true haven for remote work with high-speed Wi-Fi (fiber optic) accessible everywhere, even from the sun loungers in the garden!
To unwind and forget everything, it offers numerous amenities, including a games room with a home cinema and a pool table, and a gym overlooking the garden. A tennis court is available free of charge a 5-minute walk away.
To enhance your stay, massages and yoga classes are available at the house for an additional fee. A riding school in the village also offers numerous lessons for adults and children. The ground floor comprises a 55 m² living room with a large bay window overlooking the garden, a lounge, a dining room with a table seating 12, a fully equipped open-plan kitchen (fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, oven, induction hob, microwave, filter coffee maker, Nespresso machine, extractor hood, etc.), a wardrobe, and a separate WC with a washbasin.
Upstairs, which is fully air-conditioned:
- a games room of approximately 57 m² (with two sofas), a pool table, a home cinema system, and a games table (numerous books, comics, and games are available in French and English)
- a master suite with a 180x200 cm bed, a private shower room and toilet, a large-screen TV, and a desk area
- two bedrooms, each with two 90x200 cm beds that can be joined to form a 180x200 cm bed, wardrobes, and desks
- a bathroom, a separate toilet, and a shower room.
Free high-speed Wi-Fi (fiber optic) is available in all rooms, on the terrace, and in a large part of the garden.
The property includes a fenced park of over 3,000 m² with a covered lounge bar and a fully equipped gym overlooking the garden (treadmill, rowing machine, exercise mat, and water fountain). The shade of the linden tree is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view. Or, late in the evening, settle down in the garden to admire the stars. A charcoal barbecue, outdoor games, a swing, and sun loungers are available.
Baby/child equipment is available: a travel cot, changing mat, booster seat, step stool, and child-friendly tableware.
Private, enclosed parking (3 vehicles) with an electric vehicle charging point (16A 3.2kW, French-type plug) is available. Unfortunately, this property is not accessible to people with reduced mobility due to the stairs leading to the bedrooms. Check-in is from 5 pm and check-out is at 10 am.
