The cabin is located on Sugar Mountain. The main level of the cabin is wheelchair accessible. This includes a wheelchair elevator from the parking area to the front of the house. The cabin includes a game room equipped with a ping pong table and an assortment of board games. There are 3 bedrooms/ 2 baths located on the main level as well as the kitchen, dining and great room. Snuggle by the gas fireplace while enjoying the view of grandfather mountain from the warmth of the cabin. Prepare your favorite meal in the newly renovated kitchen. Enjoy a glass of wine while soaking in the refurbished 1921 claw foot tub after a day on the slopes. Relax on the back porch by the fire pit with a cup of hot cocoa while overlooking Grandfather mountain. 4 wheel drive is highly recommended in the winter months.

Zip lining tours (Blowing Rock): 19 miles
Horseback riding: 4 miles
Guests have access to the entire cabin.
House is equipped with a smart lock therefore guest will receive a personal code for entry.
We are located on sugar mountain just one mile past the Ski Resort. Sugar Mountain Ski Resort has skiing, snow boarding, snow tubing and ice skating. The house is situated on a loop with minimal traffic. A local park with hiking trails is located just walking distance from the house.
4 wheel drive is highly recommend during the winter months.

We booked this place for a last minute trip to ski sugar mt and it was wonderful. Perfect for two families to comfortably enjoy themselves. Well appointed and great location! We will def stay there again.

Our family of thirteen had plenty of space to play games, ping pong, and eat together.
The kitchen was well stocked and the waffle maker was a big hit.
We enjoyed our time on Sugar Mountain!
