This is a fantastic location with Gulf Place Town Center only 2 miles to the West and Watercolor, Grayton Beach, Seaside, Seacrest, and Rosemary Beach just minutes away to the East. Biking is a great activity to enjoy as the scenic bike path meanders along 30A. Bike over to Blue Mountain Beach Creamery for some homemade scoops that will have your taste buds coming back!
30A is a fantastic destination, the beaches are some of the world’s best with sugar white sand and emerald green waters. You will find plenty of beach accesses along a 17-mile stretch of Santa Rosa Beach. It boasts unique shopping, fantastic cuisine, and the incredible architecture that makes 30A famous, there are activities for everyone; kayak rentals, bike rentals, paragliding, fishing, golfing, hiking, swimming, and tennis -- you'll find it all right here.
The snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Sea Turtle Reef, deployed in 2017. Located just 783 feet out from the Grayton Beach State Park access, it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Sea Turtle Reef is at a depth of 12-19 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!

We really liked this house a lot. It was quite large and very close to the beach. We loved the pool and private access to the beach. We also loved being so close to the blue mountains bakery and within walking distance of several restaurants. The house was big and had a washer and dryer which was nice. The decks were all nice too. The only thing we did not love was the “bunk bed nook” was inside a closet inside of a bathroom connected to the main king bedroom. It was not usable for us personally. The first level had a queen bedroom and access to a bathroom. The second level had a main king bedroom with a bathroom attached and one of the closets inside the bathroom was turned into a tiny nook with bunk beds in it. We did not use them. The second level also had a king bedroom with a shower and bathroom within the same room. The third level had two twin beds. So there’s still plenty of space without using the bunk bed nook. I just thought it was worth mentioning. Our air conditioner stopped working while we were there but the company had it fixed within 24 hours which was nice! They were very helpful. I liked the house and would definitely go again.

We have stayed in multiple areas on 30A and Blue Mountain is now our favorite after a week in Carried Away. The walk to the beach was quick and easy for everyone in our family, which is one of the most important things for us. The private beach was the least busy beach we have had in the last 6 years. The home was more dated than we were expecting based off the pictures and there were a few quirks, like some of the exterior doors not closing all the way. It seems like a very lived in home, could use some updating, but we very much enjoyed our stay. The ease of having a bakery and smoothies next door and a gas station near buy for quick ice trips was an extra plus. We have already talked about booking this house again for next summer.

We had a great time in this property. It was very close to the beach and the pool. There are many restaurants near by. It is also close to Water color and Seaside.The people managing the property are great. I had a question about beach rental and they responded very quickly.Over all we had a great time we. I will definitely recommend this property.
