Villa Mariposa has a large, open kitchen in the living room. Kettle, coffee maker, microwave and toaster as well as a dishwasher are of course available. A large wooden dining table adjoins the kitchen. A large glass door leads to the large terrace and the pool. Next to this door is the TV with sofa and armchair.

About this villa rental

Villa Mariposa is fantastically located above the wonderful long dune beach Meia Praia in an upscale residential area, quiet but not isolated. Only the olive and fig trees growing in the lush garden block the view of the sea. The house has been renovated and now offers its guests air conditioning in all rooms, a modern kitchen and a great covered barbecue area with a view of the pool. The house can be entered via 2 separate entrances, the entrance next to the covered parking space leads into a small living area with a fully equipped kitchenette and bedroom and bathroom en suite. The main entrance leads into the spacious living area with dining area and open kitchen. The two bedrooms and bathrooms (one en-suite) are located at the back of the house. Both areas of the house are connected and are not rented separately.

The pool terrace can be closed off from the sun terrace by a column balustrade and lockable doors for small children. The BBQ area is covered, there are brick benches, granite tables, ideal for enjoying the warm nights outdoors with a glass of wine and fresh fish in peace and watching the sea glitter through the trees.

The beautiful beach and beach restaurants can be reached by car in about 3 minutes, on foot it is about 15 minutes.

Lovely quiet location, ideal for a relaxing holiday. This is the second time we have stayed at this villa, stayed a couple of years ago, but this time felt it was a bit tired and could do with updating, particularly some of the bathroom fittings

We were so pleasantly surprised when we arrived at this wonderful villa. So much space inside and out, amazing pool and nice quite location but close to beach and town. The outdoor area really blew us away, so many lovely spaces and lots under cover too. Would recommend renting a car as it was hot and it's pretty hilly but also a cheap Uber ride from everything. We were two adults and 3 kids/teens, popular with everyone. The beach boardwalk just 2k from the villa was a particular highlight, spectacular! Beds are not the comfiest, ours was very noisy but not a big deal when everything else was so great. Just being picky :)

Okay, you're never 100% sure what you're renting until you get there. This place was beyond our expectations! It was a 3 bedroom, 3 bath house with 2 kitchens, a pool, outdoor shower for the pool, massive patio space for outside activities and a built in grill outside, all overlooking the Ocean. One of the bedrooms, bathrooms and other kitchen were in an attached "Mother-in-Law" apartment, a perfect place for the kids! We were about 5-10 minutes from Lagos 3-5 mins from the beach. The property was gated with an electronic gate. The neighborhood was upscale and extremely safe. We did have a little trouble finding the property. Maybe I should have use used Waze, but i contacted the property manager and they came down to where we were and we followed them to the property. Unfortunately when we got there, there was no key in the lock box, but the property manager retrieved one and everything was fine. I was just glad our arrival didn't happen at night. Overall, I would give this a 5 star rating, love to go back and recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful rental proerty.
