Casa do Teixo is a beautifully presented detached villa with a private swimming pool, air conditioning, and free WiFi, located in the highly desirable Meia Praia area of Lagos. Just a few kilometres from the beach, the vibrant Marina de Lagos, and the charming old town with its cobbled streets, shops, cafés, and an abundance of restaurants and bars, this villa is the perfect base for a relaxing family holiday in Portugal.
Spacious Accommodation – Ideal for Families or Groups
Casa do Teixo is tastefully decorated and offers flexible accommodation across two levels, comprising:
Main Villa (3 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms)
A master suite with a private bathroom and patio doors opening directly onto the pool terrace.
A twin bedroom also with patio doors to the pool terrace.
A double bedroom sharing a second bathroom with walk-in shower, located in the hallway.
Self-Contained Annex (2 Bedrooms, 1 Bathroom)
Accessible via a separate external entrance, the annex is located on the lower level—ideal for older teenagers or adults seeking added privacy. It includes:
A double bedroom and a twin bedroom, sharing a bathroom with bath and overhead shower.
A large entrance hall with sofa, TV (with USB port), bookshelf, and tea/coffee-making facilities.
A mini fridge for cold drinks.
Ceiling fans in both bedrooms (please note: the annex is not air-conditioned).

On the upper floor of the main villa, you'll find a spacious open-plan living and dining area:

This was a fantastic villa, 9 of us stayed here aged 11-70, the annex was perfect for teenagers who want a bit of space for themselves. The pool area is excellent with a perfect mix of sun and shade, and the balcony is great for meal times. We did not hire a car, but we never had a problem getting Uber's.

We had a lovely time in the villa with our family. The listing was accurate and there was ample living space. We enjoyed the pool which is a good size and depth for everyone. The gardens are very well kept. Overall our stay was excellent but I think it would have been useful to know that there are no towels for the beach as we had to buy some. Also we were there for ten days and no one came to clean. We didn’t mind cleaning but there were no materials to do this such as bleach etc so we had to buy it. However our family had a lovely stay and the area was very peaceful.
