About this house rental
This authentic Colorado custom log home is the perfect home for family reunions, special occasions, or for those times when you want to build a truly memorable vacation. This casual elegant home can sleep 11 people, is stunning both inside as well as outside. To make things better, this home boarders the National Forest with seemingly endless trails offering some of the best mountain and Pagosa Peak views anywhere.
This entire home is newly furnished and each bedroom offers a private full bathroom, large closets and wonderful beds and bedding. Walking through the grand entrance of this home, you will enter the large, yet cozy living room with a large rock fireplace, leather couch, cute game cube in the corner and beautiful views of the open forest and outside living room. The living opens on to the dining area and kitchen. The dining table is large enough and has seats for the entire group with an amazing hutch with sink within reach. You can get to the back yard directly from the dining area as well. The kitchen has everything needed and is one of those perfect kitchens for cooking and preparing meals, or even better, to have one of our private chefs entertain you with a special meal. Upstairs from the living room is your game / bar loft with full bar amenities, game table and amazing views.
Down the hall toward the garage is a full laundry room with large capacity machines, iron and ironing board and storage area. There is a powder room in the hall that opens on to 2 bedrooms. The first bedroom has a king bed, sitting area, new smart TV, full bathroom, large closet and it's own outside covered patio with table and chairs. The last bedroom on this hall is set up perfectly for the kiddos with a log bunk bed with 2 queen beds, full bathroom and large closet, and views to the National Forest.
There is an onsite apartment over the detached garage with 2 full beds, a kitchen, living room, deck and full bath that is available for an additional fee. Message us if you are interested. There is no guest access to the garage attached to the apartment. It's the perfect place for a separate family to stay or for the adult kids to hang out.
The back yard is perfect for any occasion with a large grass area overlooking the "Coyote Hill" area of the San Juan Forest with miles of trails perfect for hiking, walking the dog, cross country skiing or snow shoeing. The back yard has a well maintained hot tub, real wood burning fire pit, outdoor living area with fireplace, lounge chairs and couch, a lump coal/briquette Komodo Komado grill which uses gas to ignite the coals and an outside dining area. We can send you instructions on its usage. The outside is totally private and does not overlook any homes.

All recreational vehicles, whether motorized or non-motorized, camper units, trailers, and similar units must be kept or stored in the garage or stored off of the property. If you plan to bring a trailer, the dimensions will need to be provided & approved, along with a photo to have on file.
Please note there is a $50 cancellation fee that applies to all cancellations made after booking.

This place does not deserve to be on a 5 point scale because it was a 10 out of 10. The owner of the property spared no expense on the house and amenities. Everything was well thought out and made for a perfect stay. If you are looking for a property that has upscale amenities, this it. Large kitchen with Wolf appliances, gas fireplaces in many rooms, hot tub outside, sauna in master bathroom, beautiful surroundings in a gated community with large lots.

This place was just perfect!!My daughter and her man decided they wanted a small family wedding, so we chose this place for their magical day. The snow with this house and its beauty, made everything perfect!! Thank you Natalie for all of your assistance and constant communication.

What an amazing house at the end of a cul-de-sac. This was ideal for our adult children and their spouses the kitchen was the most equipped we’ve ever seen in a VRBO operator. We saw a large heard of Elk the day we left.

I booked a different property months ago for a very special gathering of girlfriends. We have been friends since kindergarten and are 65 years old currently. One of my girlfriends is building in Pagosa Springs, but living out of a fifth wheel in the process. Another one of our friends lost her husband unexpectedly and this weekend was to be her 40th wedding anniversary. I tried to make sure that everything would be perfect and that we would have a great house with numerous outdoor spaces to hang out and just talk. Days before we were to arrive in Pagosa I was notified that the air conditioning went out and would not be fixed before our arrival. The home they moved us to was 82 when we arrived and the air conditioning was out. Due to our unusual and very warm summer in Colorado. I specifically chose a home that had air conditioning. The home that we ended up staying in did not have comfortable outside furniture. There was no coffee in the home and the grocery store was on the other side of town. This home was less than a year old. I was told by the agent so we expected everything would be in order. The home that we had originally selected was closer proximity to town, the grocery store and our friends property. We were given two choices of homes that we could move to. Neither seemed comparable to the one we had originally selected. Natalee, the agent on the first home seem to care however, Lori the agent on the home we were moved to never called to check on A/C o
