About this house rental
You will fall in love with our house due to its prime location being moments away from Whitstable's main shopping street with everything you need from art galleries, stylish clothes and food shops, restaurants and bars. In addition you have the beach and harbour just a few minutes' walk away, with its boats, colourful beach huts and oyster shells. The house is an ideal choice for all generations.
White Cottage was renovated extensively, converting what was a dark and cramped Victorian two-up two-down former fisherman's house in to an open plan, bright, stylish and comfortable holiday home.
Making it both, the perfect summer bolt hole, being able to sit in the secluded sun drenched garden or winter getaway with a cosy log burner to take the chill off after a walk along the beach.
The accommodation consists of a through lounge/dining area with wood burning stove and Sonos sound system, a galley style kitchen, guest toilet/utility room, and garden with outside dining. Upstairs on the 1st floor are the master Kingsize bedroom and a stunning marble master bathroom. The loft room has been converted to a spacious twin bedroom.
PLEASE NOTE the loft room is accessed via a steep original staircase and so we do not recommend for young children or people with mobility issues.

Free on street Parking is available on the street, and surrounding streets. With paid parking options (Resevoir Parking) also available within minutes from the house.
There are frequent busses running from Whitstable to Herne Bay and Canterbury area's. The trains from Whitstable station will take you to Ramsgate or further afield to London. There are also Taxi services available for short fares or airport runs. The nearest airport is in London and the Ferry port is in Dover.

This is a lovely property, exactly as described. Comfy bed. Huge bathroom! Everything you need in the kitchen and a great living area. Central location in Whitstable and recommend trying out the local restaurants and pubs. We ate at the Whitstable Oyster Co, Duke of Cumberland and the Woodfire Kitchen, all very good. The Old Neptune is great for a drink, particularly on a sunny day. We will definitely be back!

The house was clean and had everything you needed for a lovely stay. It was good to have the outside space as the weather was lovely while we were there

Beautiful, well equipped holiday home. Lots of thoughtful touches throughout.Well located, just a short walk to both the shops and the harbour.

Property well equipped, cosy ,warm, comfortable. Sleeping was ok - after pub opposite emptied and people outside finally went home rather noisily. Very tiny roads and difficult to park. Not really suitable if mobility issues , due to steepness of stairs in cottage and distance to carry after finding parking. Shower difficult to turn off water in bathroom basin very slow to drain away. Not really suitable for young children too.
