The spacious holiday home is located between Brixham harbour the breakwater beach, with a fantastic selection of shops and eateries on its doorstep. The popular beach at Breakwater or Shoalstone is 0.5 miles away. The property, which boasts sea views, sleeps eight guests and makes a great base for a family reunion or getaway with friends. Enjoy memorable evenings on the roof terrace, sharing delicious food under the stars.
The elegant family home is bright and spacious, with high ceilings and impressive bay windows. The property has a reverse-level layout to maximise the views, and the lounge/kitchen/diner is located on the first floor. This open-plan, contemporary space has a large dining table for entertaining and comfortable seating arranged around a Smart TV, Echo studio and PlayStation 4. A double bedroom with an en-suite shower room is also on this level.
On the ground floor is a super-king-size bed (can be made up as twins on request) with smart TV, echo dot and shower room, On the second floor there is the family suite comprising of a super-king-size bed (can be made up as twins on request) and with an additional two single beds, smart TV, echo dot with large shower room. The property has an enclosed patio garden with a BBQ, dining furniture for 8 and a roof terrace with outdoor seating for 8 nestled into the cliff. Wifi is full fibre broadband.
Lose yourself in the magic of Brixham, exploring its cobbled streets, taking photos of its colourful cottages, and dining in one of the many independent restaurants. Take a tour of the spectacular Golden Hind – a full-size replica of Sir Francis Drake’s ship – or hop on the ferry to spend the day in Paignton or Torquay. The beach at Shoalstone is always a family favourite, and has a refreshing seawater pool for those who are feeling brave. From the cottage, you can also enjoy a day trip to the riverside town of Dartmouth (5 miles).

We loved our weeks stay there, tastefully decorated, plenty of room, fully stocked with any utensils you would ever need. I would stay again. The only thing we were unhappy with was a message from the owner via the property management asking if there was an issue with the heating as the house was showing 30 degrees, in other words turn down the heating. On that day it was the worst rain and cold day so we got back early, our parents are 83 and 84 so we’re wet through and cold to the bone so to dry all the clothes and warm us up we turned up the heat so clearly the owner didn’t appreciate it, baring in mind we paid 2600.00 for just a week when we only paid that for two weeks in Barbados in April I found it a bit of an insult, if you don’t want people to use your heating on the worst weather week of the summer then don’t rent it out. We also had a water leak outside the house so we’re told that we had to not park at the property for 3 days, after ringing water board , council and property management the best advice we got was pay for a public car park. 17.00 per day was the cheapest and half a mile from the property, luckily the lads worked hard and got it finished sooner so we could at least pack the cars rather than take cases half a mile away. So the property was excellent the rest average at best
