Gaia is across the river from Porto; a short ride to downtown but away from the throngs of tourists. The beach and beach restaurants are a five minute walk from the house. Joaquim was a wonderful host and the accommodations felt like a five star hotel. we would definitely stay here again.

The property is a luxury accommodation on an estate property three blocks from gorgeous beaches, managed by experts. A car is helpful for visiting Porto but we had a car and used FreeNow and Uber instead because they were cheaper than Porto parking. Everything in the apartment is as advertised and more.

It is a very comfortable and beautifully maintained house. Everything is new and of high quality. The kitchen is perfectly equipped and the bathrooms very modern and nice.
There is a big and splendid garden with a lot of love to every detail.
And above all, Joaquim is a perfect host who treats his guests as family members.
We cherished the time spent there and enjoyed the proximity to the ocean & the promenade very much.
Highly recommend the house to everybody.

Great location and wonderful new home located on the 100-year-old family estate with pool. Joajuim is a wonderful very professional and proud owner of the home. He provided us with tasteful vegetables from his garden along with a 20-year-old Port that is close to his heart. We had our 2 grandsons who enjoyed the large green grass yard along with the family estate pool. If there is a negative, it is the gate getting in and out on the busy road. it takes a little extra attention. The location to the beach is 1-2 blocks with a view of the Atlantic ocean from your porch! The Sunsets are the best! Don't miss out on this one.
