When we checked in the house had a terrible urine smell and I texted the host. The host said that there had been a spill in the kitchen, but it was cleaned and turned out to be water. Well, the smell was centered in the bedroom area and was urine. The host has a jar (air purifier) to remove pet and other smells in the cupboard.There was a highchair and lots of beds. After several texts to the host I could see that nothing was going to be done so we just aired out the place and spent our days sightseeing.By the time we left the smell had decreased but not disappeared. We have used VRBO for years and never had an issue like this.
