Ficus Wonders Bus. A Journey Through Nature

We loved our stay at the wonderbus! Daniela was a great host and made everything so easy to access and it was just what we wanted in our stay! We wish we could have stayed longer! She had great recommendations for activities as well!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The bus is located in a small private community with its own trail and adventure park. The kitchen had everything we needed including coffee. Bus is very comfortable! Bed was perfect and comfortable. Great for bird watching. Make sure to take the quick walk over to the adventure park on the trail. We saw tucans and motmots playing there.Host is very kind and welcoming. We loved the private outdoor area. The private trail next to the bus leads to an area to watch the sunset over the mountains and gulf. We felt very safe. Would 100% come back!

Very different experience in Costa Rica! Daniela, our host, was super helpful with tours, local recommendations and general information of the area, and made our stay 10 times better! Daniela even provided a video with directions to the place, which was very helpful. If you are looking for a one-of-a-kind stay, give it a try!

Very unique stay, but the bus was full of bugs from the start. Not sure where they were getting in from as I kept the windows and door closed at all times. Aside from that though, this was a cool stay and in a good location. Close to a lot of the shops and restaurants in Monteverde, without all the traffic and people, as well as being close to the Cloud Forest Preserve. Also saw some cool wildlife outside the bus and in the ficus tree.
