This lower-level duplex unit (just below Cabin 31) has its own private entrance, though you may occasionally hear light sounds from the other unit.

Blue Jays Nest is set up for self check-in. Check-in is at 3pm and check-in details will be sent around 12pm MST the day of your stay!
We love furry friends and pets are allowed. There is an additional pet fee $50 to help with deep cleaning after each stay with pets. If the pet fee hasn’t been added to your reservation yet, we’ll send a request for payment.
We recommend keeping your pet on a leash when outside the cabin, as wildlife is in the area and we ask guests to help clean after pet waste. Thank you!
SMOKING:
Guests, please note *no smoking allowed inside home or close to entryways* violating this rule will result in immediate removal with no refund and a $350 cleaning fee.
There is a hot tub available; however, please note that it is shared between two cabins—Cabin 31: Paw Paw’s and Cabin 32: Blue Jay’s Nest.
Please note that the hot tub is currently out of service. Thank you so much for your understanding!

This rental was suuuper cute and cozy. We rented it for our anniversary and brought our little dog with us. It’s in a really good location and we had no problem finding food or things to do. My favorite part was the fireplace rotating TV nook. The only negative thing I can say is that the floors were visibly really dirty, especially the tile in shower/toilet areas.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this cabin in Ruidoso! From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The host was incredible responsive, friendly, and genuinely committed to making sure we had a perfect getaway. Communication was seamless, and they made us feel completely welcome and taken care of.The cabin itself was exactly as advertised if not better! Every amenity promised was there and in excellent condition. The space was clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the cabin that made it feel warm and inviting. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay.If you’re looking for the perfect mountain retreat in Ruidoso, this is it. We can’t wait to come back and would absolutely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a five-star experience!

We loved the cabin and the location! We brought our pets and the area was very nice to walk them in. My only complaint is how loud the upstairs can be. Any step or movement from the upstairs neighbors would shake the house, which was really bothersome at night. Other than that, everything was perfect.
